Sew in love with this quilt. Just gorgeous. Hope I can finish it. It’s not something you whip up on a weekend., it takes care and attention when cutting and piecing. Not to be rushed. But it will truly be an heirloom piece. This one is mine, I’m not giving it away when done! And your soft spoken manner in the way you explain things is fantastic Edyta. God bless
Edyta, you are a great teacher and your quilts are spectacular!
Thank you for another great video. I love the way that Edyta explains why she either sews or presses in a certain direction. Very good information.
This block is so beautiful, and Edyta is such a lovely teacher. I love how she explains the reason why she does things. I think that helps to remember the techniques. Can’t wait to get my fabric in this month!!
Thank You Edyta! Once again you have taught us well! I am thrilled I am making this quilt with your help! It is fun to learn from the expert. This quilt is so detailed I dont think I would have chose it on my own.
This is one of the most beautiful quilts I have ever seen. You make it look so easy. Hopefully one day soon my skills will be good enough to attempt this one. Just gorgeous and excellent tutorial.
Take your time and have fun! Share it with us if you're on Facebook or Instagram :)
Beautiful! I love your precision. I’m not quite up to that skill level but working toward it. Thank you!
This lady is adorable!!
I m loving this BOM . Iwas just asking Kimberly about more information on how to use all the marks on the Creative Grids rulers to square everything up so this was great. You are a wonderful teacher. Thank you 😊
Maybe one day I will be as precise as you are! Practice practice!! Beautiful tutorial.
Edyta, you are so lovely! Such a wonderful tutorial and absolutely beautiful fabric!
Love your patterns, love your videos! Thx
Beautiful, I can't wait to get block 2. Thank you for these videos!! :)
I think the second unit is called Cat’s Cradle. Creative grids has an amazing Ruler to make this unit !!! Ya another block I can use the Ruler. Love everything Edyta !!! I collect everything Edyta😊.
Such beautiful work
what a beautiful quilt, thank you so much...xoxo
Very pretty!! Thank you Edyta!!
Beautiful block. Thank you.
Thank you Edyta you teach so well, its very easy to follow your instructions. I must get the thread its beautiful colors are calling me.
Beautiful thanks for a great video
I love this!
Beautiful ❤️
I am new to quilting & am enjoying these tutorials so much! I’m so excited to get started with my first block. Perhaps I missed it in the video, but what size triangle paper are you using? Can you add a link? Thanks so much!
Sew beautiful ❤️
Would it be possible to add a list a the tools Edyta recommends like the two rulers, the pins, the sewing needles?
Thank you for all your great tutorials, it is so fun to watch. How many different colors do you need for the whole quilt and how much of each fabric. or is there a fat quartet bundle for this specific lovely quilt. Greetings from Denmark
Marianne, you can find a full list of fabrics used in Edyta's quilt here, using fabrics from her Little Sweethearts collection. www.itssewemma.com/media/shopguides/SewInLove-KIT-ShopGuide.pdf
Thank you so much for the fine answer, I am rearly in love with that quilt, ant all what Edyta makes this is so goood. If it says1 APPLIQUED Kit , is that for one whole quilt, and 5APPLIQUED Kit is for 5 whole quilts. I am from Denmark and it would be far to expensive to ship to here so I have, sadly, to find simelar fabrics here
So beautiful! Are these fabrics yours?
Also, will you be bringing out a finishing kit later that includes binding and border fabric.? I’ve bought the book and fabric separately but really wanted the red border fabric like yours but it’s not there on the FQS website at the moment.
Hi Cheryl, if you bought fabric according to fabric requirements in the book then you should have everything you need for finishing. The fabric for the border can be found here: www.fatquartershop.com/little-sweetheart-scarlet-bouquet-yardage
It is currently our of stock but just click "Notify me" and you will get an email when it's back in stock.
I have been trying to make this block but I don't have nice tools to work with only blocks cut from cardboard and scissors .How do you get the points so perfect? Can you please tell me the size of the squares and triangles or would I have to order the kit I'm just using scrap material right now bc of no income at the moment but I love your quilting I watch even if I cant afford to purchase atm :)
Hi Honey, for the sizes of the pieces, you will need a copy of the Sew in Love book. It's a great value because it includes instructions for the sampler quilt as well as many other quilts! All the tools you really need to get started are a long heavy quilting ruler, a rotary cutter, and a basic sewing machine. Other tools you will already have around you (pens, pencils, small scissors, etc)
I'm kinda lost. Where can get the kit for each month block?
Kika's Nook Fat Quarter Shop is the seller. I’m not sure if they’ve sold out or not, though.
Hi Kika, we are out of spots in our Sew in Love BOM club, but you can find the full fabric requirements for Edyta's quilt using her fabric Little Sweethearts here: www.itssewemma.com/media/shopguides/SewInLove-KIT-ShopGuide.pdf
