These cars don’t have 1k hp 😂 stock Crank hp is in the 700-800 range. They only put down about 500hp to the ground (wheel horsepower). These specific swaps with tunes and light mods are prolly putting down about 600-650hp to the ground. But we won’t be able to know for sure until they take their cars to an actual dyno. No hate, just gotta be more accurate in the car world.

The Non-Redeyes used a 2.4L SC and with the waterfall hood were rated at SAE NET 707HP, and with the Dual Snorkle hood 717 SAE NET HP. The Redeyes and jailbreak Redeyes use the 2.7L SC. The Demon the 2.7L with more boost, and the 170 uses a 3.0L. These cars all have the 2.4L SC. The calculation is RWHP /.88 for SAE NET (12% drivetrain loss) and /.82 for SAE GROSS (additional 6% loss for accessory load drain and full exhaust). As a result, 2.4L SC 6.2Ls will typically put down on a chassis dyno - which measures HP and calculates TQ from it (Load dyno does the opposite) around 625-635 HP to the wheels stock.......not the 500hp you stated. Nonetheless, these are beat up poorly running high mileage 6.2s with no mods, stock worn cams, stock heads, and stock worn (ready to break) SCs. They are at most putting -and I'm being generous - 600 to the wheels. They are 11-second cars in good DA/Elevation with good drivers. These guys would be lucky to sniff 12s driving.
