Looking forward to more details about Vancouver and Ruby, we will sail to Hawaii in September and want to enjoy a few days in the Vancouver area beforehand.
Sounds like a great trip! I'm a bit behind but have more videos coming - thank you for following along!
Iâm anxious to follow your journey as Iâm scheduled on the Ruby Princess for a 22 day cruise to Alaska in June, 2025. It will be my second cruise to Alaska.
Wow - 22 days! That sounds amazing. I'm a bit behind but have more videos coming. Thank you for following along!
Looking forward to your upcoming videos. Lucky you were able to be moved. Princess did waaay more then obligated.
Agree - the ship was completely sold out. There was only a cabin available because the people who booked it were a no show.
Caribbean Princess is getting a quickie drydock in October-ish....hope that will spiff her up some. Sailing in February.
Good to know! Thank you for sharing!
I sailed on Ruby Princess in 2019 from Vancouver BC to my homeport of Sydney Australia for a total of 32 days, and I loved every minute of it. Embarkation in Vancouver was a disaster, with the process taking upwards of 5 hours which caused a very late departure. I must say there was a total of 4 ships in port that day.
You really love the Grand class! That sounds like a great cruise (Vancouver to Sydney). Thatâs definitely on my bucket list!
Thanks! Great video as always. We are soon booking Grand Princess and wondered if they have connecting inside cabins ?
Thank you! It doesnât look like they do - I did a quick search of the deck plans and the only connecting cabins I could find were a few suites. There is a âconnecting cabinsâ filter in the deck plans for each ship on the Princess site so itâs worth a double check.
In Australia this infamous ship is known as The Covid Princess.
I didnât realize this was THE ship! Princess did have a few infamous ships during Covid.
How is the food onboard?
Main dining room and steakhouse has been excellent. Buffet average. Italian restaurant was disappointing - I go into detail in my next video.
So there is still a free sauna and steam room?
No. They were removed on Ruby. There's a thermal suite with steam rooms and a sauna but it's not free - you have to either pay for a pass for the day or the length of the cruise. Sorry I don't know the cost - a similar experience on Princess' Royal class ships is around $150 for a 7 day cruise.
Thanks! â@@TheChillCruiser
Hello Andrew. I am looking for a _Canadian_ travel agent. Can you help me or refer me to someone who can handle Canadian NCL accounts?
My friend in Ottawa has had great experiences with this agent: Patty Woodward. pwoodward@expediacruises.com.
@@TheChillCruiser Thank you. I'll try that link.
