Thx Laura for this explanation 👍🏼🤗 - one reason to drink much before the dive is, that then the urine is more water-like and doesn’t „smell“ so intense.

Haha that’s a really practical one! 😂 I always did it to keep the blood fluid to avoid DCS but this is also a really good reason 😂👌🏻🙌🏻

Very good video. I've been diving since 1978, and I admit to activating the automatic wetsuit warming function on numerous occasions. I also clean my wetsuit, as well as all of my other gear after every day of diving. They actually make a wetsuit wash solution to help remove urine (and other materials) from wetsuits. I also dive drysuit. While I do not find the effect as strong when diving dry, it does happen. I wear an adult diaper. (I know, It sounds funny).... But it's better than cleaning out the drysuit. There are other solutions for drysuits as well such as catheters with overboard valves, and for the ladies a device called a "She-P"

Hahaha “automatic wetsuit warming function” 😂
Yes! I also prefer diapers for the drysuit, I’m not sure yet about the p-valve 🫣 I feel like there is more margin for “accidents” 😅
