I loved this sooooo much! Thanks for posting this great behind the scenes tour. I saw Rachel in NY, but I can't WAIT to see her in London as I missed her the first time around. She is my favorite Elphaba ever and I hear that Suzie is quite amazing also.

I first saw Wicked in 2006 on Broadway, but honestly don't even remember the cast I saw. Elphaba means a lot to me and I am a very personal relationship to her. My favorite characters in Wicked are Fiyero, Glinda, and Elphaba. Wicked is such a spectacular show and has changed me for the better

Wicked opened up in 2003, so don't think it would have been the original Elphaba. I was only 12 at the time and hardly remember it.

If you saw Wicked on Broadway in 2006, you would have seen Eden Espinosa (or Ana Gasteyer- if you saw the show Oct-Dec) with either Megan Hilty or Kate Reindeers as Glinda :)

Wait if the mirror can't be used and has to be covered up, why use an actual mirror surface? Why not just have the front of the mirror be wood or plastic?

It's pretty standard to cover or remove a mirror. One of the easier ways to do it, with out doing much damage, is tape. It's also helps it look real, unlike wood.
