Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. Nobody beats a prime Muhammad Ali.
Nice
This isn't prime Ali...
@@georgethomas4889 A prime Ali is scary
Ali was king of the ring
Unreal, a heavyweight having that kind of hand speed, yeah its early in ali's career he's at 188 here but his hands were just as fast when he was 212 when he beat liston. He hits as fast as a welterweight with a lot more bang.
That is not welterweight. He was light heavyweight at this time.
@@michaelcraig9449 - try reading a little slower, i never said ALi was a welter, i said he hits as fast as a welterweight.
Please don't delete your old videos I love them! I saw you deleted your joe frazier vs ali 2 and your quarry vs ali 1 videos from back in the day and those were my favorites! Much love!
I must do it because copyrights problems. Sorry but I remade better in the future
@@ElTerribleProduction Ah i understand then, thanks for still making ali content!
Aw I've been looking for that Quarry vs Ali video.
Alex Miteff looks pretty skilled honestly, fought Nino Valdes 2x (no not that one, but beat him once), George Chuvalo 2x (one draw), Zora Folley, Alonzo Johnson (won), beat Jose Giorgietti (who lost to Bronze medalist at olympics), beat Reuben Vargas (1954 AAU heavyweight champion), lost to Eddie Machen, Henry Cooper, Cleveland WIlliams, Bob Cleroux, and Jerry Quarry.
The referee was the biggest hero here.
I didn't know this fight was recorded
Great job!
Yes, these are great fights that I batch repeatedly. What annoys me is the stupid music some idiot decided to include. As if we need a music concert with an Ali fight. It often overpowers the announcer.
AlI's straight jabs were just too much. Muhammad is King of the straight jab punch👑
Yes and he trained for jabbing more than anyone. Dundee used to have Ali throw 200 straight jabs without stopping, each hand, back and forth, as part of warming up.
Thanks for this
Wow, Ali was pretty skinny in his first years in professional boxing
He mightve naturally been as skinny as he was at the start and im not tryna claim anything but im ps theres speculation about him doing peds to gain weight i mean he went from like 185 to like 215 really quickly
@@syedmasood6454 no because he was still developing and during this time he was still growing tall so maybe during those times he didn't reach full maturity
@@ebolalol5186 he was already 6'3 here and peds werent banned during his era of boxing
@@ebolalol5186 also mens fully stop developing by the time they're 18 hes 19 here and a tiny difference in his development after his main developing years isnt gonna bump him up 20-30 lbs
@@syedmasood6454 I went through a phase like that myself doesn't have to be PEDs
I went from 170 to 200 in a year
Never seen this one.. Thats talent.
Throwing hands while backing up is an Ali superpower I’ve never heard mentioned. The opponent walks into a regular fast Ali punch just as Ali’s foot is firmly planted. The opponent’s forward motion magnifies the force in Ali’s punch. Go back and watch Ali’s knock outs. Another thing, what is the effect if the opponent connects as Ali is moving backward? The backward motion reduces the opponent’s force. It means Ali takes substantially less punishment throughout the fight.
Thanks you for this vidio when ali still young
محمد علي الاسطورة التي لن ولم تتكرر انه أعظم ملاكم في جميع الأزمان
I take it you've never seen Sugar Ray Robinson in his prime.
Man was Ali fast and elusive!
That bloody music gave me headache!
Apart from the music it was great.
No need for music; what is wrong nowadays that so called music must be added to sports?
The viewing ratio is all wrong, it makes them look over 7' tall.
Back in the 60s, everyone was over 7' feet tall and the government played background music from aeroplanes
Did you know your screen is a rectangle? Due to the uneven length of the monitor or phone screen the video acclimates to whatever it can. Imagine stretching a piece of plastic on a clipboard and expecting a square. That's what this is.
I believe the viewing ratio is not the same across the whole image, it seems to stretch the legs more than the torso (though im not certain). This type of image warping was common in tv broadcasts (and copies of said broadcasts) of the day, it could also be an artifact of filming a CRT screen at some sort of angle (from horizontal). Its not as simple as adjusting the aspect ratio, though I’m sure most video editors could manage it.
They look so long here LOL
@Chris Tasse He is not skinny, the ratio is wrong thus elongating his body.
Of course he was 188lb, what would you expect only one year after winning the 178lb gold medal in Rome? Sometimes I wonder about you so called boxing fans, you write a load of crap and think you know it all.
@Chris Tasse As I said, the aspect ratio is wrong but you don't seem to have picked up on that. I am not here to fight but as someone with a knowledge of the sport I do get annoyed, and you must admit that I am correct in what I said re his weight and shape when still a teenager.
So many on CZcams rave about Marciano, Frazier and Tyson but if you asked them who Yoshiaki Numata is they wouldn't have the foggiest!-- but they think themselves knowledgeable about the fight game. As to the three heavies mentioned I'm sure you'll agree that Ali and big George were in a different class.
(Numata took the Jr. Lightweight title off Flash Elorde, then lost it to Hiroshi Kobayashi, before winning the first WBC 130lb title by beating Rene Barrientos, whom Kobayashi refused to defend against -- that's if you didn't already know!)
Cheers, Paul.
@Chris Tasse No, Chris I meant the viewing aspect ratio, the various modes of which you can find in Settings on your television, eg, 16:9 Standard, 4:3 Screen Size, Auto Wide, etc, which change the shape of elements on the screen. The wrong setting was chosen for this clip thus making everyone look taller and thinner.
German surname?
Numata and the others are from long ago, in what I always thought was a golden era; 1967 was when Elorde lost his title to Numata. You notice that I still use the old weight category, I can't abide super featherweight and all the other changes!
Cheers again,
Paul.
Why are people talking on and on about his weight?
Who care, really!!!
He did look a little skinny, was still growing.
I don't know all the stats but love watching Ali's(Cassious) boxing.
Heavy or skinny, he still was amazing.
"By far the toughest fighter hes faced so far."😂
Get rid of the music!
Guess the Champ was tired of looking at him!

Their heights are so scary waouw
What’s that annoying snapping in the background?
👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥
Miteff is doing pretty well considering he's in against a Prime or at least pre-exile Ali. Muhammad has an actual uppercut here. Cuban style (thump towards you) sharp, short, and hard looking. What happened? Why did he start throwing those wide slapping hooks and uppercuts? His punching form is so good here! Was it an injury or a tactical choice?
Ali was only 20 years old here. The closest we saw of his prime was '66-'67. He was only a few months after his 25th birthday and was exiled RIGHT as he was hitting his stride. Still clearly ascending.
Inaccurate. Was Clay, not Ali at the time of this fight.
Correct. I like to point out that Cassius Clay never lost a pro fight. Muhammad Ali was defeated five times.
@@Lava1964 Muhammad Ali was already Ali in 1964 and he never beaten before his Exile
The only bad thing about this fight was the porn music in the background

Ali had long legs, but not so long. 😂
Is it just me or does the commentator sound like he pinches his nose when he talks?
Cut the awful music please. Ruins the video
What's with the lame music?
Silly music!
Can you take all this shitty "music" out of these great fight videos? This "music" is terrible and does not fit at all, takes away from the great boxing matches. We just want to hear the fight sounds, nothing else.
