Finally someone who's posted a healing guide with ACTUAL in-game examples. Really appreciate this mate. There are way too many guides out there that don't show the spec/guide in action. Your mana efficiency is insane! My main is a resto Shaman. I'm sitting at around +660 healing power. Even with down-ranking, mp5 gear and world buffs, my Shaman tends to oom fairly quickly compared to the other healers in the raid. This is especially true if anything goes wrong, like if groups take extra cleave damage or the raid accidentally gets breathed. I'm leveling a Druid to test out a different healing style. Pretty excited to get it to 60. Thanks again

For me moonglow,NG,2points in regrown for 20% crit. It's fun having NG going off. Fast healing, good all rounder. Rank 3/4HT Regrown R4 spamming the raid when large damage over many people. Full regrown on tanks or DPS with low health if they are not buffed capped(normally just HT them). It's fast and powerful. It's a fun build. Mana is great, but having a a few faster heals is the big one
Sadly, in high-high tier raiding, alot of the raid will be buff-capped, ESPECIALLY tanks, regrowth & rejuv are dead spells, nice video though ! I feel like druids don't get a time to truly shine anymore this expansion, buff count will only grow and hidden buff counts too. Sure we will be beast during progression tho haha that mana efficiency
I have watched your video over and over again. you help me from dont know what to do with resto druid, First Guild was give me shiiit on every raid. after i learned from you i start Practiced on random raid ( my guild not even let me go raid) 1 day raiding Zul'Gurub with random guild i was caught by their eyes, asking if i want to join their Guild i said ok Fuuck the Old Guild. new Guild help me Gears up and i was the Main Heal on every raid and always on top 3. and mostly 1st. :D thanks to you my man,

One piece of feedback, you shot this through the lens of a very geared Druid with lots of +Healing (as you make several references in the video). I'd bet that a majority of people watching this video right now at this current stage of P4 are new druids with mostly pre-bis (maybe, lol). Some pointers from a pro Druid such as yourself on how to make up for the lack of gear would be hella value. Are we supposed to be using higher rank HoTs and chuggin mana pots? Is that an awful idea? Lol. I'm in this scenario -- I have a new Druid and am under performing following this methodology in BWL and am seeking some tips on how to improve. youre probably getting heal sniped. ALso is there more resto druids in your raid overwriting your rejuv? Ive found rank4 regrowth to perform better than rejuv because our other druid has a more powerful rejuv.
i don`t understand about second boss ( Vaelastrasz the Corrup ) why you use Regrowth rank 4 ..while rank 9 cost same time 2 sec .. i am confuse ....and thank you for nice helpful explaining
Just a HUGE FYI: If your tanks are FULLY WORLD BUFFED - DO NOT *REPEAT* DO NOT H.O.T your tanks. You will bump their buffs off from the H.O.T.'s you apply! In this video no one is world buffed (Rend, Ony/Nef, DMT, Elixirs, ZG, etc.) No matter what class you play (Priest/druids with H.O.T.'s) do NOT H.O.T. your tanks - unless they have died and lost their World Buffs.
Man it would be great if you could make this video again and have a add on show my heal so we could see what your heals are hitting for. I'm trying to figure out a way to improve our druid healing in our guild because they're always towards the bottom of the healing meters and their over heal is near 40-50% every raid.
Healing Touch can fix that with the more +healing and use lower ranked spells. The cast times are shorter and can compete with the other healers. Rejuv is also very powerful
how much spell healing you got? im resto druid around 840 atm, healing alost the same but i dont downrank so low on the regroth and rejuv spells. sometimes my parses are 90% some bosses its lite 16%.
mines around 800 at this point. Do you OOM quickly when not downranking? There's a lot of issues I was having when I didn't downrank due to the spells costing so much mana or another healer hitting the target before I did so the heal was considered overhealing and wasted mana. Plus, when downranking, the spells have faster cast times so you'll heal quickly and parse higher.
It's around 780 now. But I started this build around 500. It will work as long as you're resto with decent healing hear. You can using higher rank spells for better heals but you'll run out of mana faster than the lower ranked spells. That's all it is with down ranking, so no worries! Thanks for the question!
I suspect a good deal more than that. I’m wearing full T2 (which is less total healing than piecing in items like Robe of the Exalted) and don’t even have my stuff enchanted at the moment since it’s all mostly new stuff and I have mid 500’s.

Then why are you wearing the full set instead of wearing ,let's say 5 items in the set,and rest with higher +healings.Is it really effective with full t2 bonuses and mid 500 +heal? Can you compete with other healers in your guild?
Mostly because I just haven’t managed to pick up the other pieces yet. But with that being said, t2 is BiS in most slots and pretty dang close in other. Robe of the exalted will give more raw healing, the turban out of ZG will as well. But any other slot is basically a pretty contested raid piece if not T2.
I would rarely use the t2 shoulders and belt over wild growth and corehound belt(dispel duty only i guess). And when/if i get the empowered leggings those will perma-replace t2 legs. The last pieces depens on what drops i will get. If i get the pure boots off of trash in bwl, those replace t2 and I might drop 5 set bonus and go with dustwond turban as head/robes of the exalted as chest. And using t2 bracers, gloves and either head or chest for the 3set.
Yea I don’t wear shoulders or belt over those two items either. It’s unlikely I’ll see some of those BiS items (boots and legs) before our Priests and Pally though
On Firemaw do you guys have off-tank healers in the nook on the opposite side of the wall from where you were standing? Or are all your healers on the same side as you?

@@kennygeoffrey yep! regrowth takes a lot of mana to cast and has a longer casting time. You will run out of mana very quickly. I only use the higher ranked spells when I combo it with Natures swiftness, or I know I can pop the heal off in dire situations. Most times, other healers will get their heal off faster, then you over heal AND waste mana with your higher regrowth spell.
So rank 3/4 ht, rank 3 growth , rank 7 rejuv best for raid heals? I’ve been using r10 but I’m pretty geared so my +healing is high just trying to optimize my rotation I normally try and r10 rejuv and spam r4 HT and skip regrowth all together
That's the way I heal. Other druids have their own technique. You can use r10 rejuvenation. I use that a lot too, you just save mana with r7 if more heals aren't needed and you want efficient mana spending. I only use r10 ht or highest rank regrowth when I combo it with nature's swiftness for heal burst. Otherwise the cast time takes too long against your fellow priests and shamans/Paladins. And I wouldn't skip regrowth. That's one of your most powerful spells but it eats your mana pool. That's why I use lower rank. Hope this helps!
I use the in game raid user interface. If you hit esc and go to raid profile in WoW, that will give you the raid UI details. Display power bars, class colors, main tank + assist, border and debuffs all checked. That way I can see everything I need
Theres a tab you can click to expand and unlock the frames. Then there will be another tab you can click to expand or compress the stacks of groups. Hope that helps!

I was looking at the video and to be honest nature switness is not worth it, it pop up in the whole video like 6 times maybe more, I thin in order to work there has to be more points on regrowth but is impossible, the thing is better to add it to rejuvenation nature swiftness is too RNG.
I use NS when in dire need. Combo NS with max rank healing touch will save a tanks life every time. Also good to use if a fellow healer is low and they need burst healed. I've gotten many thank you's to that combo. People notice it, trust me. Mine are hitting for 3k+ instantly
@@Arcturra Sorry I put the wrong name I'm refering to natures grace I now swiftness is very important what I saw is that the Nature Grace popup not too many times, so the effect to short the casting by 0.5 sec I think is not worth it, I think well 10% regrowth crit is going to make the nature grace pop up almost alll the time but no, is too RNG
Yeah natures grace shine if 5/5 in imp regrowth. With world buffs its at 75-85%crit. But im leaning more towards moonglow going into aq40. Sure regrowth spec + manapots, runes, innervate on yourself parse good. But i want to progress, so my innervate goes to a good priest and i go pally mode to last fights.

you downrank to save mana not save cast time.

I tried the regrowth focused spec tonight and it was shitty compared to Moonglow.

Yeah mainly rank 3 regrowth and rank 3/4 healing touch. The cast time is quicker and it cost less mana to cast

How do you get the blizzard raid frames to stack in groups like that? I can only get mine to be 8 all in one row.
Theres a tab you can click to expand and unlock the frames. Then there will be another tab you can click to expand or compress the stacks of groups. Hope that helps!
