I don't care what you want to call her, and i am a guy who is pretty knowledgeable about every artist and any genre of music since 1950. Cheryl Crow is one of the best songwriters and performers their has been PERIOD, and she is makes it looks so easy. Every song she made was incredible, hit after hit. Use to have musicians like her, now we have rihanna. Which one do you think is more talented. I don't think she gets nearly enuf credit and is AT LEAST in the top 10 of women's performers of all time. Everytime i sit down and watch her perform, it's fricken beautiful, it just works.
I've seen her several times over the past decades mostly by accident and she's always the best show of that year. Case in point this past spring, I went to NYC for PJ Harvey, stubhub spammed me with Sheryl tickets at the Bowery Ballroom until I gave in. Blew PJ out of the water with a three hour hit packed show with 400 other people.
Yup. Seen her multiple times. She's handling the bass like a pro and nailing it like a vocalist holding no instrument. She's always dialed in on her instrument and voice when she plays. Phenomenal.
Her stage presence and beauty is simply mesmerizing. The thing about this performance is also elevated by the rest of the band who play with such passion and energy. By the way, she looks so damn pretty and cute. Love her style. She’s a class of her own 💕💕

I had this song on my ipod and sometimes doing a 10K i would put it on repeat and not listen to anything else. 10K went by like 100 yards. This version of the song is my favorite, Sheryl looks and sounds amazing and the band is awesome. Maybe someday I'll get a bucket list wish and catch a concert.

Great songwriter.......on top of everything else. I was blown away by her first record "Tuesday Night Music Club". There are very, very few people who come on that strong right out of the gate. She proves you can write fun, catchy pop songs that are still musically interesting and not just formulaic garbage.
