I like to believe that Mariam had a crush on Amber all along but was scared to do the first step and stayed in friendzone for years being "that one really close family friend, that kids call aunt". She had to watch her love getting married with another guy, but after he died she could finally start a relationship with Amber which made her feel bad. But not THAT bad cause it's Amber who started flirting with her. Now, when they're finally together she feels like the luckiest person in the world.

Here was my theory on Mariam and Ambers relationship:
Maybe Mariam became friends with Amber because she wanted to date but when Amber started dating Dylan she backed off. Thats why she was never close with Dylan, she jealous of him. Also I think if Amber and Mariam were to date that Miriam would not like belle in the beginning because she is living proof that Dylan got Amber instead of her, but because she really wants Amber to be happy she would try and like belle. Then when she gets to know Belle she actually really cares for her and wants to give Belle the best life she can because she understands what it's like to have a not so great childhood (She grew up as a vampire and probably wasn't able to make many friends).

Here’s my theory 😋😋
Amber was never truly comfortable in a relationship with Dylan and was a lesbian experiencing comphet, and only saw him as a close friend. Amber always had feelings for Mariam but due to interalised lesbophobia caused by her fathers homophobia, refused to recognise it. Mariam is pansexual agender who uses she/they. They grew up in an accepting household and fell for Amber the second she saw Amber moving in, which is why she visited her house. They were not comfortable as a vampire anymore and was cured by love at first sight. This is a metaphor for how support for trans people can help them so much. After Dylan died, Amber learned about comphet and realised she only saw Dylan as a close friend. She told Belle who was accepting and proceeded to come out as polysexual and later on, a demigirl who uses she/her. Amber was ready for a relationship with Mariam, finally. However Belle found out about Mariam’s past as an occult sim, and got worried about it, which caused her to lash out towards Mariam. They eventually moved past it and became a loving family!

I watched this legacy challenge playlist a while back and rewatching it now, I can say with full honesty that I forgot that this iteration of the house existed.

Love your legacy challenge: original storyline, your family is genuinely lively and events are memorable.
If you need any ideas:
1)Opening business;
2)Having babies;
3)Getting in relationships with Langraabs;
4)Dating for Amber's daughter. Ask you audience, they will always have you back no matter what and don't be afraid to experiment like this in your videos when you tried to form a connection with Mariam as Amber. It worked out for now but how things will develop if one of them wasn't human.
Thanks for volunteering in the gameplay on a short lifespeed. The chapters of the sims' lives are going extremely fast with bits of chaosity that makes it more energetic.

i love how kayla never really comments on the genders that her sims date. whether they're male or female or anything, she just treats it exactly the same as each other. a lot of ppl make it a big deal for a girl sim to date another girl sim, I just love that kayla treats it as a normal thing, because it is! absolutely love and adore this kind of representation.
Just letting you know Kayla: the lighting was fine during that intro, you did not have to redo it at all.
