- Details: Today I have something brand new to introduce to you guys. Another one of the 4 elements of hip hop: Style Writing or popularly known as Graffiti. Todays lesson gives a quick introduction to what "Tagging" is and shows you some exercises you can do to get good at it. Take your time and get funky with it.

I been a Graffiti Writer, Artist... Since 1979. It started in Art Class in Jr.High Skool. I started writing :"CYPE"1:. Today i continue to do it 52 yrs old.. my Style is n always be New York Style I was taught by my friend "STYLE"b.s.d who is from New York City. Back in Bay Area Nor-Cal we both were the first to tag the Bart subway summer of '79

I've been writing for more than a decade and found this refreshing and useful for an introduction for the newbies. Actually it was one of the clearest intro's to tags i've heard with zero ego. Great work Vincani and Sano. Btw Sano is a brand name of good/cheap industrial spray paint in China, its great for bombing. :P

Growing up I always saw my friends drawing cool tags but I could never do it. I’ve always been bad at art but I bought a house a few months ago and there was an old piece of plywood in the backyard that I decided to try tagging. I bought a few cans and realized it’s hard to make it look good and I need to practice on paper first thanks for all the info

Graffiti is associated a lot with hip hop, while it developped before it and don't have the same spirit
