Have you ever thought about using the lathe to wrap armature. You can use the threading option to match the pitch of the wire.
Whenever I use super glue it almost always never stick to what I want it to stick to.
that's because you don't know how to super glue, or you're using a wrong one

Mohammad Alfauomey I don’t know of anyone that has a lathe at home...not even the mini in this video. I know that some people do but none in my circle of life. I would love to have one but cost prohibited.

@@mohammadalfauomey3443 maybe not. I think tv's the mini lathes would be just fine in a garage shop. Just clams it down to a sturdy table (no folding partial board dime store junk). So all I need now is the garage to convert to a shop. Oh crud, wait, that means I need a house instead of a blasted rented apartment. A yard would be nice so that can't touch my neighbors house and mine at the same time. Then I can build a workshop out back thus using the garage for what it was intended for (junk storage, right?) Maybe far enough out from a over-controlling city council that I can have my windmill running. No HOAs. Can't justify paying someone to tell me what I can and can not do on my own property. I get that you want to keep a neighbourhood looking nice but I don't want to be 'controlled, by a bunch of jerks who have ZERO sensibility.

Possibly to retain the inner copper wire from expanding when heat generates.
Im sure he did it just to make it look cool, it really doesn't make the motor any better, probably worse because of eddy currents...
Yes really if there is winding on threads it may shot circuit or winding may burn

Great concept. These would make great longboard wheels. Having a motor at each wheel would divide the needed horsepower by four and ............ I wonder if these could produce voltage (since they are essentially PM motors). You could use the potential energy from braking to back feed the batteries.

@@netrapatil2169 yes it's DC motor but electric field changes from each slip rings that's why Eddy currents will produce and to counter this you have seen laminated strips of MS are used on a shaft.

Dhaneshwar Rajput I think to “protect” the windings, it would have been better to use some non-metallic wrap or slide inside a close-fitting PCV tube. Then if you are doing that, you won’t need to use a bolt...a regular round iron/steel bar will work and look prettier.
