Yes u can but is gonna cost u 9000 from Mercedes dealer, there’s another way to get by path one wichs cost cheaper only can’t do online
I bought a brand new headlight module listed as A1769001204 for a GLA180 (using the original non-working module to retrieve the code). However, it did not work. If I turn on the headlight, the headlight keeps turned off, but the turn signal turns on. If I turn on the turn light, the parking lights turn on. And so forth. It's a mess. It looks like it must be recalibrated. Is there a way I can do that using the programming software?
Speaking with the seller of the module, he says the code A1769001204 is for a CLA not GLA and he says that's probably the issue. I'm not sure, I think it's more a programming issue.
Any enlightment I can have on that would be very helpful

Hi I never try to switch to right barcode for the left headlight I guess it should work, many people have used old headlights or headlights from a different vehicle to programmed it, The main objective is to complete the calibration so you match the LED with the power supply so the headlight will perform for many years without overheating & burning out,
My 2017 GLC300 has condensation in it and it threw error and the lights went out. Once the "desiccant fix" is done and it is dried out, will a rest be needed to make light work again? if there is no other damage?
Condensation has many degrees.
If it is a fogging up, fine mist, then is a light issue, just dry it up.
If you can see water droplets formed (so not a very fine fogging up) then is severe and most likely some water may have gathered up somewhere inside. The unlucky part is that many headlights have electronic units on the bottom of headlights.
Also not everything should fail, so maybe low/high beam control unit is under, but the drl one is not, so you just have some missing functions.
If everything is "dead", maybe going to a local shop to connect to the car and delete the errors.
If not, i'd take down the headlight and inspect the control modules to see if any signs of water damage..

So I had a similar issue headlight broke water got in I changed the headlight but now both side light have no response at all.. I'm thinking I need a new module for the light I replaced after that what will be the next steps for coding ?
You would have to take it to a dealer or somebody with the Mercedes scan tool. All the coding is done online
$2500 ha I bought my headlight replacement online for like $800 thing is I didn’t have to program the new module to the car just plug and play and I bought that module for $80 on ebay
The dealer quoted me $3360 for this 😂

Fog in a headlight means water got into it remove the headlight from the vehicle and remove the modules in the bottom of the headlight see if you have water corrosion if yes the headlight is cracked and needs to be replaced

Mercedes are coded to the VIN number whatever options the vehicle originally came from it will be coded Mercedes Xsentry diagnostic scan tool does not allow me to change coding on a vehicle

Is it possible to put my wires in it ?

Yes there's a special tool to release the wires from the original connector and you can transfer them over to the new connector and lock it in place I have other videos showing how to release and re-insert wiring and what tools you need thank you

Why are the headlights so expensive? I have a malfunction on my right headlight of my 2016 glc300 model. All of a sudden the low beam light was not working. I was told I need a headlight control unit or possibly a headlight. Can you give me an estimate of the cost for this to be fixed assuming I need a whole headlight. I have been given a few estimates and both are so off so I’m not sure if I’m getting ripped off only because I’m a woman. Also I think these should be covered by Mercedes’ coincidently it malfunctioned once my warranty expired. Any help will really help me. Thank you.
I think the program has crashed in your headlight control module. The cheapest fix would be is to enquire about a garage that services mercedes and asked them if they do a SCN coding service. What that is ,is an internet connection that downloads the correct functioning software for your headlight module . If your lucky it might work out . It should take under an hour and might cost you several hundred dollars. good luck.

I have a 2017 C300 and I bought some 2019 LED headlights. When I connect them, only the right low beam turns on, but when I connect the left one, they turn off. I’m told they need to be programmed online, but they’re charging me $500 USD. Is it really so expensive to program them online? My headlights and modules are brand new, never used in a vehicle.

Hi, great question but no tutorial is needed. Even though these are dynamic led head lights they still have a mechanical adjustment screw for the baseline adjustment.

Hi, i've replaced right headlight and module in my w213 2017, and after unit programming and scn coding with LAUNCH X-431 the headlight won't work there are only 2 LED stripes working and nothing else. Fault code: U117B00
