What a beautiful sapphire
Thank you so much! âșïž
I do not have the patience to do the cutting, but I sure do appreciate watching you! so soothing!
Faceting is definitely not for everyone (and honestly Iâm not even sure where I got the patience for it), but Iâm so glad you enjoy watching! âșïž
Very nice! That UV reactive sliver tripped me out!
Thank you! Me too, I always like to check my finished stones and I was so surprised when it actually showed up on this one đ
Miss Tay, I had a most enjoyable look at what you did there. I have not started faceting yet but I will as soon as I think I know enough to start. I built my machine from the bottom up and to my surprise it worked as I had planned it. Looking forward to learning more about faceting, BTW I'm 73 and plan to finish out by doing a passable cut. TTFN
Thatâs incredible! I donât think Iâve heard of someone building their own faceting machine before. Any age is a great age to get into faceting, and Iâm sure youâll be cutting some incredible stones in no time :)
You did incredible!! Do you mind if I ask how much time from start to finish?
Thanks so much! This piece took about 4 hours :)
@@tayraegems oh wow that's fast! Thanks for the video đ
A message to you Rudy
