Thanks, for sharing. I am just out of hospital, I suffered a sudden Tdp 4 days ago, I am white uk female mid 40's. Am not a drinker, drug user & am normally fit & healthy, have no family history, its the first one my dr has seen, I was treated with magnesium via IV drip, had blood rate of 188 & in 20 mins of being on drip bloodrate settled to 74, it was so responsive & quick, was prescribed; bisoprolol, aspirin & paracetamol. Its scary but I was lucky too to get a dr who recognised Tdp symptom.

My daughter was born on October 25th 2019..3 days after she was born we found out she had torsades de pointes. With no family history, or anything structurally wrong with her heart. They placed a pacemaker to regulate her heart rate because when it fell to low it would cause her to go into torsades de pointes. Now at 8 months old. She takes 2.8 ml of Erythromycin.. since then there have been no reaccurance of torsades de pointes. 🤞🙌🙏

Had TdP last month, fortunately it happened when I was already in the ER (I was having pulpitations already) and they were able to immediately treat with magnesium. I've had a prolonged qt interval ever since I was treated for nausea with droperidol. I only had one dose but I suffered terrible side effects and now I have this. It's really awful and scary.
