Please note that I have started a project to convert all famous Islamic books into Audio Books and upload them on YoutTube, Alhamdulilla we have already uploaded couple of books on below dedicated CZcams Channel.
The main purpose of this project is to facilitate access to listen while driving or cooking at home. We all know that people are not reading books these days. This will be an alternative for them to read some of the best books available on Islamic topics. Insha Allah

Maulana Maudoodi was a great scholar-----probably an honest religious political leader. But how come , that during 1947 to 1971-------no honest Muslim Leader , including Maudoodi and others did not realise that EAST and WEST PAKITAN must have been CONFEDRATION of PAKISTAN-----with 2 separate econmmies , 2 separate countries----but with united foreign department----but otherwise separate countries /economies. -----that way this bloody BANGLADESH could have been prevented. Unfortunately there was no shrewed Muslim leader to fore-see that. BANGLADESH-BANGLA-BLOOD-BATH was preventable !!!!!

His teaching is based on religious government and sharia based government has produced Talibans and Islamic State. I was attracted to his teachings when in school but not now. Just be a good man and follow the Commandments: Do not kill; Do not steal; Do not bear false witness; Honor your father and your mother; love your family;Love your neighbor, etc. etc.
No he taught according to teaching of Muhammad PBUH.
U r partially correct if someone will follow him without understanding his teachings completely (half knowledge is really dangerous)then there is chances that he may go to wrong path of extremism. But when u will try to understand him with a open mind he is really far sighted man.

@@Mahi-to7zv What I mean is that Moulana Maududi wanted a religious government. But this is not the age of Religious governments. Whole world has Secular governments. Secularism does not mean you give up your religion. It only means that there will be no religious laws or affiliation in the government. You are all equal citizens and equal rights whatever religion or faith you belong. All the western and civilized world have this kind of government. And every citizen is happy. This is what Mr. Jinnah wanted for Pakistan. Look how hundreds of thousands of Muslims have migrated to England, US, Canada and EU and living a peaceful life, happy and dignified life.The continue to come in flocks even today and even spending hundreds of thousands of rupees and even risking their lives. Obviously there must be something good here.
Allama maududi sermons, interpretation of Qur'aan based on fake hadiths and contradicting history, pls don't follow him blindly, like tahir ul Qadri etc.

Scholars only find objectionable of him is on some parts of one of his book named Khilaafat O Mulookiyat.
That is because on those parts he derived certain conclusions by taking certain hadees and considered historical references as an evidence of the prophecy, the very reason he did so is for the sake of hostorical and academic consistency - even his critique agree, but since it goes against their emotional positions of muslims in general.. Thus he was criticized.
Nothing else considered as objectionable, to be considered him problematic.
You cant find anything problematic in Tafseer..
Only the person/scholar who never read tafheem ul quran would say dont read it, this is because of their insecurities coming from the criticizm of Khilafat o mulukiyat.
Most who involved in propaganda against Moududi are ahmadis, ahl-ul-bidah and those who are boot-lickers of saudi regimes that is backed by America.
All criticisms are just excuse.. the real issue people had against him is actually geo-political.
