Very good. Didn't imagine that I'd have to use a soft mallet but it makes sense, this being a precision power tool. Now I seek knowledge on how to polish scratches on my motor housing caused by misalignment of the fixed base.

At 3:20 you removed the lower armature bearing to "install onto the new armature." However, at 3:40 when you installed the new armature, the bearing was back in the spindle so you could not "install onto the new armature." Please explain.

The bearing is pressure fitted onto the armature, but is loosely installed into the housing. You can remove and install the bearing by hand into the housing. Using the mallet as shown in the video, you can seat the armature into the bearing. Go slow and knock in a circle around the housing as he does. It is generally much tighter than shown here.
