Nightingale is correct. The master known as Ritsuka has experienced so much pain and suffering (Especially in the Lost Belts), and has never been approached to fix their problems. They bottled up their emotions as they press forward with a duty they feel obligated to do, they feel entitled to do so no matter how much pain it brings them. In so their soul slowly crumbles from the realms of reality, always pushing themselves for that "One Last Time"...
