My only issue with the armor is that there's not enough. Vital organs are left completely unprotected
There is another issue. The sword is not in the right timeline. It is more around year 600 to 800 (Viking style) and the armor is more about 11 to 12 hundred (temple knight style).

Tops! Wee board sounded really good - especially on the distorted tones, which I have found to be unusual. Ralph seems like a reasonable, well adjusted and helpful type of guy and not at all like a coked out roadie.

I bought the Valeton TAR 20G after you did the review on it and I friggin LOVE it. I run it with chorus and delay through the effects loop, and an LPB-1 and an SD-1 in front of it. And it sounds AMAZING!!! Definitely gonna have to try this one out.

I too bought 1, and a week later, I bought a second one. Now I have an all inclusive stereo pedal board that I can turn on and off with the flip of a power strip switch. Kinda wanna try out the bass version now, so thanks Guitar max for compounding my G.A.S. problem ; )

My thoughts exactly! At $295, how can you go wrong? I bought an ST model with a maple neck for about $118. It was as nice or nicer than my mid 80's MIJ strat. Harley Benton guitars are an exceptional value.

Been watching your vids for a while now (subbed a while back) and you finally convinced me to buy my first electric guitar (I've been a bass player for almost 30 yrs.) and it was one featured in your channel, no less. I also bought a multi FX unit and I think it sounds great! I love how you are comfortable leaving the "gear snob" attitude at the door and aren't afraid of showcasing high end equipment as well as the budget gear. You don't bash and bash on the budget stuff either. Just honest, unbiased reviews. Hilarious way to give the whiners their comeuppance. Keep up the great content, man! (and again, thanks for helping me select my first guitar!). Gonna try and get a HB next!
Max did one bass review a few years back and I comment from time to time on how he should do more. I'd love to see his take on the Sire M3 bass which is the cheapest in a line of reasonably priced professional level basses endorsed by Marcus Miller. Most of them are Fender style basses, but the M3 has a modern design that metal bass players could dig. Last I checked, it could be had for around $400 or $500.
Just out of curiosity I swapped an analog preamp against a Mooer GE150. First I was pretty impressed. And then I realized this "throatiness" that another reviewer on YT was talking about. Also the amp models from the 55 or so stored ones, sounded all the same, just as if they more or less just re-voiced one model. I let my ears rest, tried the next day and again I was quite eager to play. But after a while I noticed that there's a wah like frequency in every model. Especially if you play a power chord on the A string around the 5th fret. I looked into comments and many said it is actually sitting well in the mix because of that. For me it just reveals that you should rather stick to analog pedals combined with IR or use virtual amp sims in your DAW which have a far more superiour tone than these cheap modelers. The Mooer might still act as an FX unit for my FX loop but other from that it's an annoying and even overpriced unit imho. Don't know if the Valeton is better.
I am hoping I can pick up a Mooer ge150, Hb dnafx or the flamma fx100 on sale, and they are all the same pedal.
I have a GP-100. It's made by Ruger. Stainless with a six in barrel. Please don't stop doing your videos the way you are doing them.

Affordable FX unit(150 bucks) reviewed with an affordable guitar(350). Very cool! Usually these reviews are done with ridiculously expensive signal chains that the real end users of the product wouldn't usually have available.
I thought you said no Hank Panky, lol. But remember an individual who checks out this device on their own and understand all functional probabilities or possibilities. Please do not be upset if at a later date, any other individual is not satisfied of your possible antics and not saying but possible fabrications to help sell a product of inferior standards, even thou the price is possibly comfortable. Also do you consider the amp speaker combination. Would like to see a video where a 3 watt amp is used and explain whether the loop function is available. Fact is I was able to put my fly 3's delay through both input and through the loop section of an amp. Still all units are working fine. No tonal or power loss as of over one years real time set.
I have no problem with your armor, GM. Reminds me of Paul's words: "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." And all that you share, GM, is the needed armor for guitar musicians. So I get it, bro!

Interesting! I didn't totally love the sound, but it was good - definitely good enough for practicing, and if you use it with an actual amp or with a DAW with good VSTs I can imagine it would sound better. So for $150 I think it's a good buy.

Just picked up the NUX MG-300 and love it!!! It's the best modeler I've ever played.
Thanks for a great video and review. I almost bought a slightly cheaper pedal but I'm glad I didn't. This pedal has 2 features I didn't know I could have. Loadable IR and Digital Interface. I'm looking to this pedal to replace my beloved Digitech RP 90. DI, looper, cool tones, head phones for practice, honestly this looks to be a fantastic tool.

Good points about the Valeton: it's the smallest, the only full metal made, and the only that has a feature called "stomp mode" to switch on and off single effects without changing the preset (for example if you need chorus in the hole song but you want to add distortion only in certain part of a song).

I have a gp-100. Mine shoots .357 magnum rounds. We should do a shoot out between the Valeton gp-100 and the Ruger gp-100.
I had a 4" GP100 in stainless. Great shooter, but it was heavy as hell. That's the only reason I got rid of it.
