A family member is currently being nursed at home with help from District Nurses and Hospice at Home, the Shakespeare Hospice. The care is outstanding, I'm so hugely grateful to these wonderful and compassionate nurses. It's so good to see someone end their life in the home they've lived for over fifty decades especially when they have been a homemaker. Thank you all!!
That sounds great, but who will care for her? I'm a widow, FMLA only gives me 12 weeks. Then what, I have to move mom back to a care facility when she needs me home with her the most?

I'm currently a family caretaker for a relative in in home hospice. I wouldnt recommend taking this route if you have a extremely difficult patient.
We’re not sending my husband to the hospital unless we can’t do it at home.
Who’s here because of Jimmy Carter at home hospice care?
My dad is going through this now, and it's very hard
Eben though I'm not afraid of dying, i don't believe that when my my life's ending i will be kept out of pain.
