Phantom Menace: 62000 score in Farbanti w/ F-4E - Ace Combat 7

- Despite Mission 11's greatness, I've come to think of Battle for Farbanti as the best mission in AC7 - mostly because I can't completely destroy it. Even with PLSL, I couldn't completely clear the map (almost), considering the sheer amount or air respaws and ground targets. If 11 is AWC7's best playground, Farbanti is its best battlefield - just like it was in AC04.
To be honest, I've been holding back on score attacking this mission because I don't want to ruin it for me like I did to 11. I wanted to keep that aura of a battle and not a massacre, of a mission that's always a challenge. Well, suppose I'll to do that someday, when we get the RAVEN most likely. But for now, have something a bit more interesting than just ye olde Mobius F-22 callback.
Aside from the Phantom, I'm also using the portrait removal mod. Color squares showing up for OFFLINE messages is a known issue: www.nexusmods....
PS: On the final annotation, I have no idea how that happened.

On a side note, I agree on the choice of BGMs. Aquila works for Sol Squadron cause Mihaly was Yellow 13's teacher.

Farbanti is my favorite mission - good mix of air to air, land, and sea. And with a “boss battle” in the end.

Andrew Rogers interestingly I don’t even see the Raptor in multiplayer that much anymore. Maybe it’s just luck or maybe people are genuinely getting tired of using QAAM’s because they are so powerful it’s boring.
Andrew Rogers EML is f*cking annoying but it’s actually pretty hard to use. As for the SASM you can ask TugaAvenger about that.
Edit: yeah, no... come back to me when the SASM makes my missile alert break every bone in my year.
My highest score in "Long Day" is the F-4 with UGB's. Surprisingly very effective.

Love the F-4 in 7. Shame PA didn't give it SAAMs. It hurts seeing all those empty AIM-7 hard points on the underside.
Honestly, a good and very simple way to add content to the game would be to just add one more SPW to each aircraft.
@@TugaAvenger AC6 managed this easily. There is no reason PA can't do the same here. A fourth choice allows the aircraft wider usability.
In AC Zero, you could give the Su-37 and the F-15S/MTD the FAEB. I ended up always using this combo, despite the fact that I only had 8 bombs to throw. here's some combos I thought up.
F-15E- 6AAM, SFFS, UGB, TLS
F-15C- 4AAM or 6AAM, UGB, SASM, PLSL
F-22A- 8AAM, QAAM, XSDB, PLSL or LAAM
SU-33- HVAA, LASM, EML, RCL OR 6AGM
SU-35S- 6AAM, LAAM, LASM, 6AGM or HVAA
A-10C- UGB, 4AGM or 6AGM, HCAA, FAEB

@@mrandrossguy9871 I was actually saying that AC6 had 4 SP choices, which allowed each plane with multiple opportunities.
Your point of view makes a lot of sense and it should be possible to have multiple SP(albeit with reduced ammo counts).

I feel like AC7 ultimately has a lot of great levels. I feel like there are very few 'filler' missions; just some missions that have a potentially interesting concept that isn't completely executed the best it could be.
That said, I felt that there wasn't enough time in the SPC to flesh out the more interesting bits of the story, like FB's intel, or the Princess (which as it turns out wasn't originally of royalty seen in AaW 19) or even Harling himself (we knew how he died, what I'm boggled till now is why did Harling turn around towards ISEV during M4)
But other than that, I'm quite happy with the game

Yeah but the missile coming from behind Trigger and people suddenly jumping on him was never explained. I thought the DLC would tell us that the Belkans had a pilot there to put the blame on someobe, but PA just went with "the drones did it, case closed".
Plus, Harling going back made no sense either way, he couldn't destroy the elevator or anything. Either he didn't know how to fly or got spooked and tried going back.

Alongside with the Gripen, the Raffale, the Su-30 SM, The F-4 E is one of the very few aircrafts that has a well balance weapons set, sure, it doesnt have a great agility, but the weapons it has compensate it, is not going to wreck a MP match againts a bunch of Su-57 and Spammtors, but on the campaing mode, it feels good using this aircraft xD

Both that and have it end more or less at the end of the fight. It was a bit tricky because Aquila doesn't actually have a natural loop point.

Farbanti never recovered from the Ulysses impacts. Coupled with the multiple wars it's gone through, It's interesting to consider that Erusea is still a country after all the internal/external struggle. I can only imagine how confusing the Geopolitics of Usea is...
Suspension of disbelief: 1) Mobius One notwithstanding, seeing an F-4E from the Vietnam War smoke fourth generation Su-35s and Rafales. 2) The radio discipline in the entire Ace Combat series.

No, I died and restarted from the checkpoint. Did not want to restart the whole mission as I'd had a pretty good first part.

Man.. this run is pretty efficient..
I'm not so sure anymore. I went for the ships last to get more of them, because I can do better against ground targets with the Phantom, but but in every other occasion I've found going for ships first to be more efficient - and might still be in this case.

Do note UGBs have reduced damage against ships, so if there's naval forces, LAGMs are the best option. That's why I took them here.

No reason not to if I edit the video. For some I just edit the audio (eg. MP matches), so I do skip on that there admittedly.
@TugaAvenger Good thing you didn't tryhard because if you were to go on a massacre and name the video "Farbanti wipe", I'd tell you off for not getting both aces in the mission as well. To be fair, though, I don't remember if you killed the aces in Fleet Destruction wipe or not...

But even then, it's debatable if that's a good call in Farbanti. You need to fly out to intercept the F-2 ace who tries to run away, and the time you lose is likely not worth it.

Same as I always had. But because my CPU is somewhat weak, my draw distance isn't as increased as for other PC players, I only have it at 3x normal when the recommended is 5 or 10. That might be it.

Forget about all the program about the advanced jet fighter, the Air Force should clone a squadron of the pilots likes you and numbers of the Phantom II which is easy to build and fix.
