I actually lived in Montepulciano for seven weeks in college and went to school in the Fortezza! It's been almost three years since then and I still dream about my little apartment there and miss it every day.
Did the same back in '03...from Georgia Southern University-Italy was transforming, hope to return, maybe permanently, someday...

So nice! You brought me back there :) I have also visitied Montepulciano and Pienza in one day in january 2018 when I lived in Siena. It was really cold and there was almost no one in town, but the vibes of the towns speak for itself. And the views! Breathtaking! I saw the most magical sky full of stars in Pienza next to Via dell'amore and this is such a precious memory that still makes me smile today if I think of it. Lots of love xoxo

I was in Montepulciano last May and LOVED every minute. It’s a magical place. When I return, it will be for a much longer stay so that I can explore more of the beautiful city and the surrounding Tuscan area. ❤️

Ahhhh .... this brought back sweet memories:) Based myself in Montepulciano and explored Tuscany from there just a bit over a year ago. I still buy my pasta from there, close my eyes, and imagine I’m back there in the warm soothing sun ☀️💕 🇮🇹

Zoey Arielle Zoey, I went to Ischia a few years ago. Unforgettable trip. I was immediately hooked. I wish we could meet there. You must go. There is a castle on the island that will blow your mind. I think it is the Castello Arragonese.
