t5hey still spent the second lowest of the 30 teams in 2023 but are first in the AL East. Rays in second spent barely a little more and went just one notch higher. Both are fighting for the division.
history says the Seattle Mariners are the worst team ever.... the only team to NEVER even appear in a world series & they have been a team almost 50 years!! there's levels to this most pathetic game & Seattle is on top
You chronicle the fall of the Athletics after 1914 without mentioning the new, third "Major League ", the Federal. This caused salaries to go up, and manager- owner Mack was notoriously tight fisted. Also, they were swept in four games in the 1914 Series. Some speculate Mack's players, some anyway, threw that one. No evidence, though.
Their first decade or so in existence was bad. From the 1960's up until their last WS in early 80"s they were usually one of the better AL teams most seasons and win a few WS in that period. Then the got bad til the mid 90's for a few years of playoff appearances. Then more crap. Then from 2012-16 they won more games then any team in MLB just fell short in playoffs. Then "the rebuild". Now it looks like they're turning around again. Just over .500 right now but they've only touched 1 key piece (Rutschman) of a loaded farm system. If even half their top prospects pan out over the next 2-3 years they're gonna be really good.
Why do people on CZcams call Cleveland the spiders? If I say thier real name will I get in trouble or something? Do you do it to be politically correct?
My Orioles are no longer a laughing stock, we have an awesome farm system now.

came here to see if anyone is commenting on the orioles now lol. giants fan here but i respect what baltimore has been able to do with the farm system
@@chemBTWi came here as well. Didn't age well lol
@@alexrudd716 lmao truuuuu
It's funny the year that this was posted the giants won 107 games lol
lol im a giants fan xd
I didn't mean the giants were the worst team overall, just that during a certain season they had the worst team ever
What a difference a year makes.
The Orioles are not a team you want to face in 2023.
Pirates trading away Austin meadows for Chris archer. May have set their rebuild back another ten years.

I had hope for the Mariners in 2001, when Ichiro came to America.

The orioles team has a lot of potential they have so much young players
Orioles climbed out of the worst team. Right now its KC & Oakland which are jokes
Good vid
thanks Dom
And you can't do the senators if there not a team anymore
The Baltimore Orioles are doing much better this year.
current royals (royals fan)
I'm sure the dodgers r the worst
That’s ur opinion
the dodgers have the best MLB record right now dude
I don’t like them but they are good
Mariner :(
This video most certainly didn't age well. Giants won 107 games and orioles are 7 games above 500 at this very moment.
😂
@@shortstopyt wasn't insulting you, baseball is the most unpredictable sport in existence so you get a pass.
orioles are looking good now, but will probably not be better than the yankees for a while
Baltimore orioles has always been the worst MLB team ever. And they always had the ugliest logo
The orioles might be the worst mlb team but don’t disrespect the bird ya heard
@@lio8161, their logo looks fine to me. The cartoon bird with an O’s hat makes it easy to give the team a nickname.

I’m convinced you don’t know a thing about baseball
im doing my best uwu 🥺

They used to be called that back then.
Then they moved and they got the Indians franchise after I think
There actually was a team called the Cleveland Spiders.
Because there was a team called the Cleveland Spiders before the Indians existed
HAha you said the future wasnt bright for the Orioles but boy is that wrong now
