I'll be installing the very similar Shinko 804/805 tires on my G310GS as soon as the original Metzeler tires are worn out this winter. In addition to the much improved off road performance in mud and sand, I think the chunkier off road tires make your GS look like a much more serious off road oriented adventure bike.
Oh yes it does enhances the looks. What would be the impact of those tyres when used on normal roads? it’s grip and mileage in specific? Anything else to add?
Got kenda K784s on mine. They were on the bike when I bought it, and weren't my first choice for tires. Very surprised at how well they perform and how long they last for their price. They're pretty light weight too.
I have many videos on these tires, off-road, street and freeways. I like them so much I already bought another back tire for when it wears out. thanks for watching. Consider subscribing.
@@SasqmotoHave you upgraded the suspension? and what do you weigh if you don't mind me asking. I'm getting new springs installed at the moment and hoping I didn't go overboard with the spring rate. Your bike looks great btw, almost all the same mods as mine but I have the red/gray one.
Hi I have not changed the suspension. it works fine for me, I just changed the preload to 5. I weigh 235ibs which I think is 106 kilos. which suspension did you get?
@@Sasqmoto got the touratech progressive spring kit. I believe it's the cheapest suspension upgrade out there at $390. Preload at 5 for me as well and the rear shock feels surprisingly good for such a budget bike. I weigh 245 without gear, 280 fully geared, and found the front suspension much too divey during breaking and cornering for my tastes. Touratech springs are 4.6-8.4nm for front forks and 149-196nm on rear shock , where the stock is 3.5nm on the front and 115nm on the rear. Could only find good and no bad reviews of the spring kit online but it seems way too stiff on paper. I guess I'll find out soon when i pick it up from the shop.
yes I saw those, its supposed to keep the plushness when on road but in the rough be a little stiffer. I was interested in those as well. Curious, what was the cost on the install? you'll have to let me know how it rides and feels.

Good tyres on this bike is the key to its potential
absolutely. it makes a great difference
Qual marca dos pneus ??
Noticed that you kept the stock exhaust pipe. I am debating an aftermarket (GS310) but I am worried about noise level.
yes, my friend has the akropvic exhaust and it is loud. Sounds like a dirt bike. he's not happy with it.

Is there any harm in not having an ABS switch?😢
No not at all. it doesn't affect your riding off road. I have a lot of off road videos on the g310gs. consider subscribing. thanks for watching!
