so Sam has always been bully in his place he thought that M.A.T.A take him to the competition it's because they want him to lose and get out of M.A.T.A but he knows that everyone that is going to be in the competition doesn't know him so he act selfish,mean and a bully but in episode 5 Rudy wins against him(not in the competition) and Rudy said something mean to Sam and since Sam can't fight Rudy he admit it he really said that he think to himself that he is useless and pathetic since he was always getting bully at his place but then Khai and Ali comfort him by saying some nice thing to him Rudy also feel bad after hearing Sam backstory but since he is a hot head he just act like he don't care and just go to his bed
