I have a question. How is the school rugby union system in Australia? I ask because we have Craven Week here where about a thousand kids duke it out in provincial game warfare. This gives selectors and agents a chance to see young talent and develop it and give more talent options for selectors later on. I would like to be educated on this from Oz perspective.
mostly private expensive schools play rugby union. and each city has their competitions around 10 school in each comp. thats why its dying cos average kids dont have a chance to play
Bulls game, 2nd half, no Willie and Hanekom going off was a trainwreck, the hole left after Hanekom injury was just too great and rushing Arendse back for injury was potentially a mistake.
Ox Nche , the way you said it first is the right way .. ahh i was soo happy watching this untill i saw URC winners fml ... lol - i was at Loftus , disconnected all the speakers.
I love that Schmidt has stuck to his guns and really does want to make a change in Australian Rugby even if it doesnt work out in this year's upcoming tests, it just seems like a breath of fresh air and healthy for Australian Rugby in the long run, its just RA that keep getting in the way with their rubbish. I think Sititi was pick in terms of the long run, blooding him now. Sotutu i think will get a call up in RC, only way i can accept that he didnt get selected is due to him not fitting their game plan. His stats for defence was a little bit on the low side but everything else was outstanding. Love the podcast and keep up the good work!
@@Wildkard I thought he may have wanted him for his turnovers but Iose killed that stat by miles. I'm thinking maybe he went with Jacobson cause of experience 🤷♀️
The image quality mostly is down to the streaming service and the device you are watching it on because it will automatically select the quality for you (unlike youtube where you could at least give HD a go). My macbook and tv, both 4k capable, stream different qualities and i can't do anything about it - pisses me off. It could also be the streaming service cutting down the available bandwidth - maybe a major game was on at the same time?? But there are such things as torrents if interested... (not live though).
Libbok will need some new fishnet stockings and stilettos with pink lipstick 💄 for this clash... Hope his kicking is going to be on point fingers crossed 🤞
That Wales player who walked out of the training camp should never be called again. Rude and disrespectful to the Jersey. This is why players like Deon Fourie are so special. Even 1 cap for your country is something to be proud of your whole life. He is an entitled prick. Not good for the Welsh or any other team.
Buthelezi: the ‘th’ in Buthelezi is pronounced T the h is silent. Think Butelezi And grant is an English name. So it’s pronounced ‘grant’. The e in Nche is pronounced with an English grade one e sound. Not the French sound e’ sound.
Hi Wildkard, please put these worst Australian coaches in order. Out off.... (Dan McKellar-Ex-Brumbies Coach/Darren Colemen-current Waratahs coach and Eddie Jones-Ex English/Aussie and now current Japan Coach)? For Me it would be.... 1. Eddie Jones 2.Dan McKellar 3. Darren Colemen.
Hey Wildkard, not sure if you're into video games, have you seen the new Rugby 24 game? A little bit disappointing they way they released this 'early access'. Rugby needs high quality video games as part of increasing it's fanbase, this is a massive letdown.
His not selected. I have no idea why, a game against wales would be perfect for him. I guess schmidt dont wana spoil him by pushing him to the moon to quickly like eddie jones did
Stupid music blasting during the game is unbelievable to me. First time I saw it was with a Saffa match. I absolutely would not go to a game with that on, can't even watch it online more than highlights on mute.
I have no respect for Eddie Jones here's why: -He is rude and tells lies. Like from last year's Wallabies World Cup Post-Match Press Confreince, where it was both Eddie Jones and the New Wallabies Captain replacement (at the time)/Ex Captain David Poricki after when they got absoulety smacked by Wales (Full Time: Australia 6-40 Wales). During where Eddie Jones was speaking, you can see right through David Poricki's thoughts. Like David knew Eddie Jones was telling lies, but had to keep quiet. -He doesn't included his own coaching stuff to select the Wallabies squad to play against (Georgia/Fiji/Wales and Portugual) from last year's World Cup. Only Eddie Jones selected the Wallabies squad, and push aside his own Coaching team, and what there own thoughts were. -Speaking off selections, Eddie decided to fly out a very young/ un-expreince players to the World Cup. -He back-stabbed his own Birth Country Team players like, not only just (Bernard Foley/Quade Cooper and Micheal Hooper (The OG Wallabies Captain). -But Eddie Jones decided to put all 10 all these great expreince players to stay back in Australia to watch the World Cup without being there themselves. (Jake Gordon/Noah Lolesio/Tom Wright/Reece Hodge/Pete Samu/Dylan Pietsch/ Jock Campell/ Darcy Swain/ Lachlan Lonergan and Jed Holloway.) -He also flew out already injured players to the World Cup like....(Oringial Wallabies World Cup Captain Will Skelton and Taniela Tupou) -Even when Eddie Jones already had 4 losses before the World Cup, Micheal Hooper still backed Eddie Jones. Then Eddie Jones decided to back-stabbed Micheal Hooper, for not selecting him for last year's World Cup! Because apparently from his protective ( from Eddie Jones: He wasn't a great romodel). -He signed the Japan contract during the World Cup, to coach Japan because of the mula (money).
