About the footprints... that's always a troublesome issue. seeing them puts you on alert. Leaving them also adds to the worry. But there is nothing you can do about it. as to beverage of choice, it's vodka for me. Honestly, it takes the edge off of "what was that?" Unless something get's in my face - and it has happened - I don't worry about it. Look like your numbers are edging up there. Doubled since I joined, so here's a high five or a fist bump. Keep up the quality work and you keep doin you.

Sometimes a wool blanket helps to keep moisture out. Under your sleeping pad. Doesn't always work for me because I'm in Oklahoma and the humidity is high, but I've heard it works well. Since you’re sitting in the ground in the tent I wonder if one of those stadium chair things would be worth trying out so you have something to sit back on but compact enough to camp with.
I generally like chocolate porters or coffee beers. IPAs are super popular around here and therefore highly available so I often drink them, but my favorite sorts of beer are always the dark ones. At this very moment, I am drinking some beers from Hop Valley Brewing Company out of Oregon and I'm drinking the Cryohops Stash Pack. It gets that IPA flavor without the overwhelming dryness, which helps when you're also a stoner like I am. It's a variety pack but all the beers are both strong and good.
If I'm drinking in public I generally don't hide it at all haha. Between Denver and Rochester, I probably have a few hundred miles of walking around drinking a beer 😂

Enjoy your videos but I would feel exposed in that location. If one's camping site can be spotted 200 feet away then for me it is a no go. I prefer sites that are hard to spot fifty feet away.

Tip for you. Put your damp socks in your sleeping bag and they will be dry by morning.
