Hi Fellas, I wasn't planing to post multilanguage videos for this game but I came across this scene and found it really funny to hear Louis singing in other languages. I can understand French and I can tell that the lyrics were modified compared to english. What about the other ones? I found the voices really horrible compared to the original. It doesn't work with soundling like BS. I know Louis is mostly talking BS but that isn't Louis funny kind of BS but translating evil BS.
* In germany we have other size indicators for shoes. No 9 is even smaler than a newborn ones for us. My first shoes had size 18 when I was 1,5 years old.
The words in Portuguese are bigger, that's why in our language (I'm Brazilian) I did not sicronize
Yeah the French version translated it and it's sloppy and way too literal, so at the end of the day I personally would have preferred that they keep the original version
It could be done well but yeah I'm not blaming the German translators for keeping the original English lyrics, it's probably the best thing to do in this case

Why is this scene so loved...
French translation is good, but it looses its rythm because, well, it's a different language. I think they could still easely retain the rythm of the French translation just by singing in the "Présent" instead of the "Imparfait". For the intonation issue, they could also use "Chère" instead of "Chérie"
With a bit of rearrangement it would look like this :
"Oh, ma chère. Oh ma chère. Oh, ma chérie, Clémentine... Tu es perdu, à jamais(euh)... Désolé, oh Clémentine"
"Elle est légère, et com(me) une fée, et elle chausse du quarante... Des boîtes sans couvercle, Clémentine a pour sandales."
I felt it was one of the only ones that really kept the beat in its translation

Sí, es bueno. Pero el español latino también hicieron un gran trabajo. El problema con esto, es que uno ya se acostumbró a sus voces en inglés. Llegaron algo tarde para hacerle un doblaje.
En todo caso, fue un detalle de Telltale bastante bonito.
