To be continually mindful of the process of enlightenment through maintaining a close proximity to the presence of God. To stay with that focus (In a humble way). Admitting. Examining. Being grateful.
To simply become like this (person of ceaseless prayer) regardless of the activity you are involved in at any given moment. It’s not about praying with the intent of addressing God with prayerful words (ie, formal prayer). But becoming the person of continual prayer.
If the praying suddenly stops, then you immediately know that you are involved in an activity or in an act of thinking that is incompatible with “Continual Prayer”
This is to “Pray Without Ceasing” and to pray without ceasing is to “Rebuild The Man”

Pray without ceasing means to never stop. Even when you pray like at night. Continue before you sleep. Pray when you wake up. Stop in the middle of the day. When bad happens when good happens. Always pray.

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

I'm curious to see what others have to say, so here's what "pray without ceasing" means to me:
If I stay in the state of mind of being present (like during the silent prayer), I am where God is. So throughout the day (and night) when I remain aware of myself and quickly notice when I have been hijacked by thoughts and/or emotions, I can quickly let those thoughts and emotions go, and remain as close to God as I can be. The state of mind this is producing is like nothing I thought existed. Everything else just seems to work out. AH-MA-ZIN!!!!!

@@patientlywatching7775 silent prayer is only part of Christ's prayer "Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth." Pray without ceasing means you are able to practice the entire Christ's prayer without ceasing.

@WhiteSupremePizza What “praying without ceasing” means to me is similar to what you said… I see it as me standing quiet before God for the majority of the day in silent observation of other people and events happening around me. Even while I’m doing my work, I stay in the present by reminding myself to not drift off into my imagination or the past or future. If I find myself drifting off, I see that Satan is trying to set me up to over react to something so I am watchful so I can see it coming.
It is not making snap decisions and voicing opinions as they pop in my head. It’s not overreacting to situations.
By standing quiet before God all day, my spirit is getting to know the voice of my Father so that when I hear the counterfeit voice of Satan in my head, I will immediately know that “that’s not my Father’s voice!”
But people who don’t get to know their Father’s voice on a daily basis will forget what His voice sounds like and they end up listening to the voice of the deceiver… that’s why Jesse recommends the Silent Prayer so much. Our spirit needs that constant connection to the Father.

Now that I've heard the answer I wonder if there is any correlation with this..... I'll use drugs to make my head feel better but they often hurt my stomach and I often have stomach problems. But I will always sacrifice my stomach or gut to take pain from my head. i. e. Headache, stress, anxiety!. It's like physically I will appease the devil before I will listen to my gut

Praying without ceasing biblically means to meditate on God's laws and statutes. Practically it looks like staying aware of God, bible, and how you are being.

Consistently Pray for forgiveness, guidance in a good (positive) direction, and for help against evil. Pray to be saved from hell (whatever that may be). Pray for your friends and your family too, it only takes a minute or so/less at a time to pray. Do it and your life will slowly get better, or maybe quickly. It probably just depends on you and the kind of person you are/have been. Don't wait until its too late and you have to suffer the consequences of built up bad karma from immoral acts/unrepented sins. Maybe together we can help make the world a better place by changing ourselves for the better, and changing things around us for the better.
And addressing/thanking the CREATOR, LORD GOD at the beginning and end of your prayers would be a good idea 😊
Or just be my friend if you don't want to say the prayer 😄
I'm trying to help you get right with the LORD🙏
    Amen.
You should prostrate yourself if you don't want to do spoken prayer, or do both ☺ Please worship the LORD GOD and not any idol. 🙏🙏🙏

@allthoughtsarelies bestillandknowv6 speaking in other languages. There's been plenty of documented cases where people do not know another language but end up speaking beautifully and clearly OR understanding other's as well that they'd not previously studied. Think about it, if we don't know what we are to ask(don't know how to pray) AND we pray in another language (could be a forgotten one) it could be that angels bring that to God (or He dwells internally) then we are praying perfectly. Because you have Faith that He will do what needs done and the pray-er is not in any position to doubt or have fear or feelings. It's almost as if God sends down to us, we pray and it's carried right back to Him. It's perfect Faith.
