Hi Kandy Man, fantastic finish from the Fuji especially the red hood man that was like a mirror. I got the MP-V8 a few days ago as they are new to the UK and AFAIK there is only one company selling them here and that's SP Supplies plus for a limited time you get 25% off so it's a great deal if you want one. I've used mine about 5 times now and it's getting dialled in real nice, the finish from the gun is superb plus the build quality is right up there with Devilbiss and the Iwata WS400 series2, I haven't got the H-V8 HVLP for base as my setup is not good enough to run that gun along with my air fed but I've heard it lays base really nice👍👍John UK.
Loving your work Sir, the MP-V8 that are selling in the UK has the Sata style swivel connector for the airline but I didn't see it on your gun, I'm not a fan of those connectors and IMO it's not needed but it's the only thing I can fault on the gun
Not digging the fan side knob which is also not ergonomic for left handers (reminds me of the cheap chinese guns). This gun is also not cheap so up Devilbiss etc
@@kandyman5315 thanks for the reply. I’m using FC720 with 612 hardener. Not reduced. 5 minute flash between 2 medium wet coats. Does the same thing with slow 613 as well.

What would cause my finish in the clear to change after a bake cycle? I clear the car - happy with it, bake and come back to a different finish.
Many things. Cheap clear ., base not fully cured, to fast of harder, reducer to fast , humidity, bake to hot ,to long of a bake .to much clear

@@kandyman5315 I short bake my base for 10-15 minutes. After clear I bake for 27minutes at 150 Fahrenheit

Try not baking it and see how it looks. The cheaper clear don't like the heat.
Do you think the ws400 sprays flatter?
It sprays great time, will tell ws400 is hard to beat
