    This stuff actually fixed the shudder I had on my Lincoln town car a few years ago, the fix lasted for about 10,000-15,000 miles, 10/10 product.

      @@kylesjunkandprojects216 interesting, my Toyota Sequoia is doing this shudder and it’s annoying cause mechanic is charging me 5500$ for a transmission swap… that’s what the car is worth… I’d rather put this on until it dies. @@jackmcpherson6750 i figured I’d just work for a couple weeks and just get the whole transmission changed. Rn it’s not being a problem, just the vibration every now and then. Just easing off the gas or give it more for now. Hopefully it’ll last till I get enough to change it out

  • @irepairofpc31familykartrac51

    2004 Silverado had a bad shudder going into overdrive so I added one tube and it started to get a little better almost immediately. Then I bought a small siphon pump on Amazon and started pumping 2-3 quarts out of the transmission with it. I added back the lost fluid and I did this 4 times in a weeks time then added two more tubes and a bottle of platinum transmission fix and after 150 miles or so I can’t even tell it ever had a problem. Gas mileage has improved as well. Stuff works great but I think changing the fluid helped a lot as well. Update after 4 months. You can’t tell there was ever a transmission problem. I’ve had several other people drive the truck and no one can tell there was ever a problem.

    This product is brilliant, in Australia we have the Holden VF Commodore. A common issue with this car is the torque convertor slips and shudders. Poured Instant Shudder Fixx into it and it fixed the issue straight away.

    That’s great news for you. My 2001 maxima with 214k miles still gets p0744 but now shifts better and smoother after seafoam trans tune, Lucus and valvoline maxlife synthetic ATF and a 3x drain an fill with few thousand miles between each to do a flush. I bet it’s the solenoids, or converter or a clutches
    One item is when in 3rd and you floor it it will slip into neutral but when you let off gas. It slips right back into gear. It’s slipping in and out of gear.
    I had a manual transmission once that did thatz. It would slip out of gear. In 2nd gear but it had 200k miles and I drove it that way ffor years and 150k More miles

    • @stevemccooleq
      @stevemccooleq Před 7 měsíci +1

      In the 70s automatic transmissions were huge, inefficient & had 3 speeds. So big and bulky that you almost could not break them, they could take lots of abuse. Now (in order to meet fuel efficiency requirements) they are half the size, smaller clutch plates with 5, 6 or more speeds. Has nothing to do with "corruption".
