- An easy way to test out what AudioControl's The Epicenter can do for anyone's system. A guy walks into a car audio shop to hear what The Epicenter can do for his suffering system... His whole music library is on an mp3 player and he wonders why he doesn't have any bass! Easy thing to test it out!
I used a epicenter in my system a long time ago. It's not for rap or any current recordings. It's for old recordings that had limitations from the recording equipment. Example, Listen to the beatles with and without. There is a difference. A dramatic difference. It is a digital bass restoration module.
@munoza8299 because rap music already has low bass they should just really rename epicenters to Mexican Bass Processors.
epicenter recreates low tones IDK how many octaves lower but it "recreates" it. Works wonders for older recordings, esp old recordings. also awesome for when you have your stereo turned low and want to hear the bass boosted at lower volume levels. good tool to have if you listen to MP3, as the compression removes a lot of the low frequencies that the encoder thinks you do not need to hear.
thats true the epicenter sound great with music with out bass...
hello can you help me configure the epicenter plus
"Your hearing notes now that weren't even there before. They've been lost in the compression" lol no, the epicenter takes higher frequency midbass and lowers the frequency down to low bass notes. It's not unlocking any sounds that were lost, it is literally adding sounds that were never there.
@munoza8299 i was thinking it has something to do with the internal subsonic filter that doesnt let frequencys below 33htz to play. i am looking forward to get a 25 hz filter to see if there is any difference. for the good of rap.
this is what you need when you bump that funk music, and banda and corridos...
The epicenter makes songs sound different than before by restoring LOW BASS fine tune your system to your vehicle know your knob( bass knob) & LIVE LOUD!! Warning the epicenter is not for every song & is not responsible for knocking pictures off the walls & making glass shake ( fast commercial voice)
panasonic made decent head units back in the day
sounds like a good way to clip.
I am going to get the epicenter for the Beatles cd's because they don't have that much bass especially the early Beatles. What do you guys think? Do you think it will bring out the bass in these recordings?
The epicenter concert series has two dails to set wide and sweep how come the plus version dont have these buttons , whats the plus about ? is it better sounding? so confused with this brand called audio control but amazed with the results i already own one of the old epicenters what is this new one about? Is the acr the only controller for this ?
The reason rap does not need an epicenter is because it already has true bass... it does not make a god damn difference with the epicenter, my epicenter is the original EPICENTER brand and its the same bass...
any telephone cable will work
can you use this epicenter in a system which already has a matrix pus
@187MA187 Audio Control. they have some good shit bro.
@JonaMo0 sadly yes i had one they are pretty, but cant handle bass. alpine and pioneer is the best for heavy bass.
@8320884 jaja i agree. my jbl doesnt sound good when playing rap songs and using the epicenter. but playing the mexican music with the epicenter bumbs harder than some rap songs,
Thats right puro banda compa
What's the best epicenter???
The best epicenter is the hifonics brutus 2.0 check my setup
Sound Stream
does panasonic even make head units? haha
lol ill show you guys what an epicenter can do!
EPICENTER IS ONLY GOOD FOR BUMPING MEXICAN MUSIC, YOU DONT NEED THAT SHIT FOR ROCK OR RAP...
a epicenter aint for that fucken music is for banda
Am I wrong in thinking that turning up the sub woofer level would do the same job as this? :s
