- Tamtse is the first person I reach out to inform about sexual assault by an ex vice speaker of Tibetan parliament. WHO IS TAMTSE?
He was in 22 army unit initially. There he couldn’t continue because of so many disciplinary problems like frequent stealing, drinking and quarrel, and was finally expelled from establishment as Sukha discharge, meaning a premature discharge from army unit without any benefit and compensation. He, then, for some time, dwelled in Rawangla areas in poor condition. After sometime he got recruited in CST Paonta Sahib where again he couldn’t survive long because of same reason - his frequent fights and stealing habit. The same scenario he repeated in the next CTS school where again he was recruited as hostel warden. He was expelled from there also, the second CST school. He then somehow joined lower TCV school as boys hostel warden. There he had the most interesting case of his misdoing. He made rule which restricts students from locking their cupboards., which means students are not allowed to lock their cupboards. During the absence of students, he stole their belongings like sleeping bags, cloths, cash, phones, watches etc. and send them away to his native in Kalimpong through post. And soon he was caught and summoned to office for questioning against the complaint lodged by students. He was again expelled from the school job. With the help of Dogyal association, he migrated to Switzerland sometime later.
He, in general, hardly participates in social gathering of Tibetan community in Swiss. He quite often visit church and people also accordingly believe he is a practicing Christian. But as soon as Kyador announced his Sikyong candidacy, he, for everyone’s surprise, started appearing online and campaigning for Kyador’s candidacy forward.
Some credible sources says he is being hired by Dogyal section to do what he is doing.
