The cranberry vase with what you thought were someone’s initials is actually an inverted pentagram with OES in the middle for The Order of the Eastern Star. It’s sort of the female version of Freemasonry.

Absolutely agree with you that the "thrill of the hunt" is more exciting when thrifting. There's nothing more thrilling than finding treasure in the wild that has not already been curated!

I liked the harness racing picture. I live in Hawkinsville, GA, the harness racing capital of the world! We have a harness festival every year, with lots of activities in town and at the race track. Many owners from colder states winter their harness horses down here in our mild, warmer climate. I’m not into any of that, but it is cool that my tiny town is famous for something, lol!

So strange to see something, body bells for a horse drawn sleigh, that I still use in the winter being sold in an antique store. Does that mean I'm old lol.

I liked it liked seeing all the stuff you don’t see elsewhere but I like it when you find better bargains especially the flea market but I still liked it

Somebody repainted that slag glass floor lamp with mat gold. They did an ok job, but it is obvious to those of us who work on vintage and antique items.
If you look at the color difference between the post and finial which are bronz, and the shade which is mat gold, there is a big difference. They did take care not to get any paint on the glass.
I’m so glad you got new tires! When I heard you talking about it on one of your previous videos, I was concerned, especially with a long freeway drive home. Love the glass finds. I know you talk about bread and butter items but $20 profit made on beautiful glass just seems so much better then $8 profit on a mug! And way more fun. Thanks for bringing us along Danni. ♥️

I think the cranberry glass item with the etched star was for Eastern Star organization. Fun shopping trip. Saw lots of beautiful pieces. Loved the prices on some of the furniture. Thanks for taking us along!
I was going to same thing. My grandmother was a member of Eastern Star. I’m not sure if they are even around still. Hmmm, something I need to investigate. I still have my grandmother’s Eastern Star ring.
They are still around. My MIL is involved with them in Salt Lake.
I believe the DES is for Daughters of Eastern Star
Yes, OES stands for order of the eastern star and they are still active. They are the women's group associated with the Masonic lodge.

Danni, I don't know how housing market is doing in Vegas, but they are falling here in New England because of the economy. Because of that, people are losing a lot of money trying to sell their house.
I would stay at least until spring time. Who knows, miracles happen everyday.
For now, just focus on the the store.

Rainy in CT today Tuesday and also Monday. We got the remnants from the Florida hurricane. Sorry about the house situation. People are disgusting and cruel. They know you have your business needs and that's how you pay your rent, children and animals. Maybe it might be easier this time finding a place without needing to conduct your business as much in your house.

I live about 2hrs from the Fenton factory I’ve been there a few times. I took my Girl Scout troop there in the 80’s they loved it and my sisters and I have been there a few times. It really is an amazing place.

Dani, it’s so much more interesting as well as educational following you through an antique store/mall more so than Goodwill. I’m in Louisville Ky and our Goodwills absolutely are the worse, no organization what so ever. Too, they keep ALL items with any amount of value behind the counters marked up to prices that is not reasonable for even a collector much less a resale person.
Our Goodwill has very little organization also. Unfortunately, during the cold weather, there are no yard / garage sales, and estate sales / auctions are usually geared to the "big" dealers, which I am not. And I no longer sit at auctions. LOL! Don't have the time, and don't like the cold! So I make do with the unorganized Goodwill most of the time.
My favorite of your shopping trips ever because you shared so much interesting and valuable knowledge all in this one video. I am not a reseller but it is fun to have this information in my “keep your aging brain young by learning new topics” brain. Thank you for sharing, Dani! ❤️
