As a little tip for Devn (assuming they see this) on Junkrat at the start
I know it was very early on, but please do not frontline as Junkrat unless you are with your tank/supports. Junkrat, especially in current patch where he's been butchered down, *thrives* off of the distance he can spam from. When you see your second DPS die that forward and you don't see your tank in front of you, you should back away, and if the enemy team starts coming straight forward because you're right in front of them, you can use your mine to very easily get away by jumping away with it
I've held that corner a fair few times as Junkrat, but generally what I do when the enemy team gets closer is either back up onto the ramp behind the corner (easy access to the tunnel up top where I can flank from), or mine jumping onto the gas station's roof where the rest of my team generally is. First point R66 is *really* good for Junkrat (from my experience anyways) and you can get some really powerful angles to spam or flank from
(Though as Emongg mentioned, the swap was definitely necessary because Echo/Pharah is agonizing to play against, and that's not even considering Junkrat's generally weak state right now, so good decision there)

@@devin8503Oh yeah totally, I'm only high plat but I definitely get the mindset of wanting to get environmentals with the mine. Had to force it out of my own head at one point because I realized the mine gives *way* too much upward momentum to really be able to do that without the enemy player being able to just fall back onto land. Only really works against stunned/frozen targets, or charging reins, and even then it's better to just go for a frag+mine combo to get the kill
Real talk they are gonna climb out of Silver. They have decent aim and a sense of what they should be doing movement wise where they back out before someone in Silver would. I believe in them! ♥

Honestly if this guy timed their shots and worked on their positioning, they'd get at least mid gold to low plat. They aren't a bad player, I can see the game sense, it's really just those two things holding them back

I had a game yesterday where i was the silver in the plat lobby. we had an ana on enemy team who has about 8% shot accuracy, an enemy dps who just started playing pc, and all four supports were ‘washed diamond players’. The dps who had swapped from console to pc had about 12 kills during a 20 min game. ranked is a shit show rn!

The soldier in the footage was in his chat and explicitly says it was not intentional. Calm down it's not that serious
