Corrin now has *3.5* major wins, y'all. 1. MKLeo won Delfino Maza Reta 2022 (Major Invitational) 2. Shadic won Cirque 3 (A tier) 3. Shadic won Kroger Invitational (A tier) 4. MKLeo used Corrin to win huge sets and take King of Fields 2 (A tier) That is RIGHT behind Aegis, who has 4-5 major wins. However, unlike the Aegis, Corrin has seen not just more B -> B+ tier top 8s, but also B and B+ tier wins ever since 2022 (MKLeo, Neo, Shadic, and Sparg0), all despite being a far less popular pick in than Aegis, Cloud, Roy, Lucina, etc. She has also seen FOUR Supermajor top 8s (Neo 5th at Smashcon 2023, Sparg0 + Neo + Shadic top 8 at Genesis X, Shadic in 2nd at Collision 2024, and Shadic's 5th at LMMM 2024). Overall, that is way more dominant than any other Fire Emblem character in the last 5 years. This is also much more dominant than a lot of swordfighters in general. The only Sword character that can compare to this is Aegis. I'm not including Cloud because it's literally just Sparg0 (who has also used Corrin for big wins and top 8s a lot more often as of late lol). If we had another Cloud player or two dominating then I'd include him into the mix. To me, Aegis and Corrin are the two best sword characters in Ultimate.
@@Greeds_ Lucina Didn't have solo major victory. Both MKLEO and Protobanham won major with Co-Main (Ike & MinMin). Not to mention Lucina hasn't had a top 8 major since 2022.
@@Greeds_ I check at Liquipedia. The last Proto top 8 major is Maesuma Top #13 in 2023. But here's the catch. He goes full MinMin in that tournament. So I don't think you can say it's Lucina Top 8 just because Protobanham is the one who gets it!!!
This Corrin moves like 3x the momentum. All these short and empty hops, slight delays on up airs, nairs and fairs. That makes everyone shake their booties, except Sparg0, those two are the best two players currently. And rightfully so.
Mainly know what MUs to use the bait and punish technique. While both characters can technically be played in an aggressive fashion, a good chunk of MUs become a lot easier once you learn how and when to not engage. Force the opponents to approach you and then hard punish them for it with combos and strings.

Calling Corrins sword too big and fast, when Sonic has spindash that clangs with every move in the game, has the most safe aerials. Has setups of 3 moves that does 50-70% damage uncontested. Don't call Corrin big and fast when Sparg0's Corrin could not defeat Sonix, Shadic is built different because he's the best Corrin in the world. No need to be jelly. Have a nice day.

Keep in mind about Aegis. Most of Aegis results are from Co-Main(Shuton) or Secondary (Sparg0). While Corrin results are mostly from Solo main!!!
