Krul's kicking was awful, but he made plenty of decent saves, could have been double figures.
I am not a Krul fan tbh, but he stopped a good few and it could of been 2-10
Krul was a mad one. Conceded a couple that he should have saved, but saved a couple that he had no right too.
Saved 9 on the night, so I wouldn’t say woeful.

I just watched the goals on TV in New Zealand a very good effort well done Luton Town the seasons not over I still believe we stay up
I appreciate his insight and his willingness to actually play football, to be "brave and bold", and not just sit back and play defensively and counter attacking football, like so many other teams. This is the way to approach playing the game, and his players will learn and improve playing this way. Top notch manager with integrity and fortitude, wish him the best!

Luton had 5 regular first team players missing. Their team cost £8 million.

Yet to still score 2 and come close on 3 other chances, to never give up even at 2-6 down in the last minute, shows what an incredible team Luton are.
The main target is still to stay in the league! Villa is must get something game.
Playing as brave as this against Aston Villa will give you the same outcome I think. Aston Villa as good as anyone on there day and are very dangerous on more open passages of play like tonight. Top credits for at times trying to play man on man. But there’s reasons why teams play tighter blocks against Man City and KDB and haaland are 2 big reasons for having to do so.

I commend for the way Luton played I know some will say it's naive but atleast they tried to win the game by trying to play offensive if we had lost the match I would have been okay than losing to the likes of Brentford Crystal Palace aka teams that seat back and defend with all 11 players hoping for a draw. And I have massive respect for the manager Rob edwards for that and lastly I hope Luton stay up over the teams like Bournemouth and Palace.

LUTON TOWN have to simply just keep on improving, week in and week out - but their is still a huge divide as far as money in football buys you quality world-class players that can win your team titles and cups continually. Luton Town desperately need a far bigger stadium ( 35,000+) to create more revenue in order to go and purchase quality players who have experienced Premiership and European football week in and week out!!!

I don't think many of us expected much from tonight. It's one game and it knocks us out of the cup. Financially we will have had a nice pay day too...
Many people predicted we would be drubbed every week at this level and that has not been the case. We can now focus on Premier League survival.
Luton have a been credit to the league and have shown such heart and desire which can't be said for some billionaire clubs. Sadly though they will go down with Burnley and Sheffield United .
We gave it a go and although we were humbled. We actually attacked and pressed on the front foot. The majority of teams park the hus amd hope for a counter

Luton is pretty good
Sometimes the other team is just better. You can work on a lot of things, but if the other team has better physique, technique and the ability to knock the ball in the right places you are up against it. I would like to see Luton put more through balls to the forwards. A lot of Luton's goals are from fumbled balls, or balls that fall lucky or hard fought for. Not many goals from 1-2's, balls on fast runs, on the turn.. In other words, when a Luton town player has the ball, they don't look like they have a plan with what to do with it.

I'm assuming because Edwards told him he'd be the cup goalkeeper, seeing as he also played the Carabao Cup game.
Personally, I wouldn't let him on the pitch again. I remember him being a pretty decent keeper when he was younger, but he's not Prem material now.
