It's honestly impressive how you were able to make the audience's emotions about this dog do a complete 180. Going from repulsed, disgusted, irritated to heart broken and empathetic in about 2 seconds is incredible

The fact that the only part of reality that could break through Steve's shattered mind is someone talking about loving their dog shows that despite his fear and aggression towards her, Steve loved Blue until the very end.
But he was mentally unstable and killed his dog as a result from hallucinations. It was really sad. I hope he can get help,and a new dog that can have a better life,a one blue couldn’t have.

Some people lose it in the shock of the ending but I keep thinking about this video. It is a true masterpiece in how obligations and responsibility, despite coming from a place of love and a source of strength, can also breed resentment and anger. This could be in a literal caretaking situation like what is shown or a metaphorical one, like Meatcanyon being forced to crank out cartoons to a gleeful audience unaware and uncaring of how the feels about his relationship with CZcams and creation in general.
I haven’t found myself real red ring on a piece so often as this since I first watched lasagnacat’s pipe strip video which unironically changed my life. Thank you for your work Papameat!
I think it's more about how you can start hating something you used to love and spend a lot of time with to the point it totally warps your vision of it and you only remember and miss the good parts of it when it's gone/dead.

You see, to me they’re two sides of the same coin, Steve’s actual message is a light shining in darkness, this is the dark corner whose rot is growing. I love both

In itself, the first seasons of the series are quite cursed and somewhat uncomfortable. Now, with this, you just activated a part of my memories that I had forgotten, thanks for this great animation, I didn't even want to sleep.
This is by far the sadist video they have made, this ending genuinely shocked me.
And what's even sadder about it is this is somewhat real. Losing your head and doing something you don't realize is a mistake until it's to late. There's people who suffer from this stuff. God this is sad :(

My head's vibrating after watching this. Never have i feel mire disturbed by watching a video in my life. I have watched worst possible gore out there but this animation was just something else and the fact that Blue Clues was a significant part of my childhood makes this even more tragic for me. Good job meatcanyon.
Minus the curb stomping this is exactly what it can feel like taking care of an old, dying, and ailing dog. It's heartbreaking, it can make you resentful, but also full if grief and shame. And so tired, but most importantly very, very sad 😢☹💔

When the host of Blue's Clues disappeared mysteriously, many people came up with different theories. Was it because he was convicted of a heinous crime or because of cancer? Turns out, it was because he was balding.
Some friends of mine at the time had a website where one of them made fun of him right after he quit and he saw her at a convention and he cussed her out lmao

What's even sadder is that Blue was being neglected. The fridge, the dog bowl, the tv ad, the bathroom, those were all clues that she was just asking for love, care, and attention. The talking objects were Steve's subconscious trying to warn him as well 💔.

When I was a kid we had a dog who I loved and was really close to and I had this recurring fear that I would have a psychotic break that would result in me seeing my dog as a monster and then accidentally hurting or killing him. I don't know why I had such a specific and intense fear of this exact situation as a kid. I've never even had psychosis

The accuracy of how every show or commercial makes people look like they're on acid is uncanny
So …I had a dog with cancer.. my husband decided to “go the distance” and did EVERYTHING for the dog including chemo, radiation..putting him in diapers and hand feeding when it was really bad. The dog pissed, pooped and puked everywhere in the house. The house stunk so bad and our clothes started to as well the dog lives over an year extra that way and I hated it. I hated that I loved the dog so much and I had to see him suffer because my husband decided to treat him like a human instead of giving him dignity and grace that we don’t give ourselves. The dog SUFFERED in the end. Thankfully our last moments were comfortable as the vet could make it and we said goodbye peacefully but I will never forget he week before when I came home from work after someone said I smelled funny…I looked at our poor dog and thought “why don’t you just die already?”… I regret that thought.. even though it was our last moment together..I still feel sad about it inside .
I can watch people get ripped apart and mutated and destroyed, but to see a person who's mentally ill kill their dog over nothing just hurts. That was a brutal ending.

I guess i also thought he was tricking him into killing himself but i was still wholesome in its own way. Papa meat, this one… it made me go NOO and it takes so much for me to do that. It wasn’t predictable, the link i received was.
Looking back on how things were for me growing up with my dad, there are clear signs of schizophrenia, though he'd be too prideful to get checked out for it. What makes that truly awful to think about is growing up my dad was rough with my old childhood dog to the point of punching him for misbehaving once or twice, which is probably why he was always trying to run away. Watching this video made me realize that if things got worse than they were, this very well could have been my poor sweet Vato Loco (Spanish for Crazy Dude). He passed january of last year, he was suffering too much with bladder cancer so we had him put down. I still miss that beautiful angel and could not bear imagining if this had happened with him.

I discovered meatcanyon through this video and it was the only one that was disturbing enough to genuinely make me scared
Bro this is dark, I actually became enraged at how unwell my dog was towards the end. I could never care for another one as long as I live, it was so wrong for me to scream at the dog, but it was what my brain came up with when I found her unable to move and screaming in pain.
This was surprisingly sad, never expected something like this.

@@pikosapikos13 It's because of like what someone else said: Seeing humans die in fiction is pretty taboo and common now, we see people die all the time in movies, books, shows, video games etc. But it's not often when a beloved pet or animal dies and it just makes it all the more heart wrenching. In the Impractical Jokers vid, John's wife dying was more dark comedy than anything else, since there was no reason to kill her other than to keep the show going. In this one he didn't mean to kill his dog and immediately regretted it after figuring out that Bloo's Cloo's was all in his head.

Honestly this one went from the regular fucked up meatcanyon episode, to being a truly horrifying story of a man dealing with mental illness and losing what he loves because of it. That ending actually terrified me more than any other video I’ve seen. This man is a fucking amazing animator.
