To this day, the evil within is one of the most memorable action, survival horror games I love to reflect on. It's the perfect balance of menacing, challenging, and horrifying that I believe make horror what its suppose to be.
The story has body, the gameplay is fluid allowing you to go guns a blazing or utilize your special crossbow and all of the unique bolts if has to battle enemies.
You can upgrade attributes to make your character a melee maniac, or level up your proficiency with a certain weapon. There's hidden keys that unlock goodies to help you on your journey. There's a challenge mode for people who enjoy pain lol. And the story literally keeps you guessing till the end.
this game is literally the goat IMO. It set a standard we need to reflect on moving forward with horror games of the future. But then again. Kojima is working on OD which COULD change the game in horror moving forward. We shall see. ....

I love that gaming and fitness are starting to happily coexist and even compliment each other. I usually hop on a game when I get home from the gym and it's always great after a hard workout.
Yea brother, one of my friends told me I should do something that encompasses games and the gym since I go literally all the time and this is what I came up with lol. Feels fun too shoot and I get to talk about my favorite things!
one recent game id recommend to any horror fan is alan wake 2, it’s rly abt being trapped within the constraints of the horror genre itself instead of being a horror game. very engaging story with complex layers to the writing, rly emphasizing the fear of the unknown and what you can’t control. 10/10 imo, def my top horror game. (also love the vid keep the grind going mi amigo💪🔥🦍‼️)
I definitely need to give that game a try. One because my friend played it and hated it lol 😂 but also because it’s legit my fav genres of games and it also got nominated for the GOTY. So clearly it did something right. So I will def be playing it soon. And thanks for watching and commenting. Love taking with other gamers. Also it’s nice to not have a hater in the comment section. the thing with tew1, was that the game was baddly optimized and the game felled weird, not clunky but weird. I remember that people hated it so much, but i did love it, when 2 was about to came out, i was so hyped, but i didnt saw any hype around it. I would really love a "REMAKE" not a remaster, but a full remake for the 2014 tew, so people would see the pontential of the IP, it could be as big as resident evil or silent hill at their primes.

about tew bosses, i really loved laura fase 2, that u need to run and shoot some traps for the fire to burn her or to get through. and the keeper from chapter 7. also i love that they didnt hide the fact that he is a callback to pyramid head. (talking about the last time u see the keeper in the game, its clearly a reference to sh2)@@Insight_Gaming

I liked TEW. not super in love with it or anything. The game was pretty atmospheric but the chapters was super disjointed because story was a bit nonsensical outside of the Varik/Laura story because they cut so much of the story and context into Kidman's paid DLC. Also no Joseph story 😭
The gameplay was also brutal with how it was unclear if you're in a cutscene or you're in control, this was funny to me but I'm sure it was super frustrating for most people cause it felt like the game was screwing them over. Cause a lot of things in this game one hit kills you.
I liked 2 a bit better for me at least, it was a bit more cohesive and the story being one completed story this time with the main character having more story and personality makes it something more fun to follow. I love the more hub semi open Silent Hill vibe of the new STEM, the world is like I said more cohesive and connected with each other. But they felt like they tried too hard to course correct from the last game not connecting well between chapters, that the world felt a bit samey after a while. And the enemy designs this time was not as iconic even if it did look more original this time. Anima was creepy af tho. Her and the pale lady 😭.
Gameplay was a bit more sensible no more dying in unclear cut scenes 🤣.

Well really, I’m doing it because it’s what I did already with friends. I’ve been doing short form content for years on TikTok. And after making those videos, I’d go to the gym with my friends and talk games more lol. So I decided why not do it on camera and also promote getting in a good workout. Still a project in the works but it’s been really fun and now I can share both my passions with people who might enjoy it.

Bro i wish i had the time to go through all those games again but thats a MASSive undertaking haha One of the best series of all time no doubt. And the remasters were excellent. As for the gym, man I live in there. lol only felt fitting to start a new project in there but talk about my other love haha
