Maxed Out - 6 Ways to Patina Copper

  • In this video I test six different methods to patina copper. Using a smaller extra sheet of copper, I use saltwater, vinegar, saltwater vinegar, muriatic acid, diluted muriatic acid, and ammonia in different squares to see which of these solutions will give me the best results. This test was crucial to my work for the Iron Oak sculpture which will feature over a thousand patinated copper leaves.

    if you wanted them with a deep red patina you heat it until it is red hot and quench it in boiling water. Would look gorgeous for an autumn copper tree

    I feel like a lawn/yard pump sprayer would be a great way for you to hit a ton of leaves in a quick manner

    I need help to get patina on our new copper roof…. Made a huge mistake to replace our old roof, the new is too shiny and doesn’t go with the exterior of the home… help me please withe the process or connect me with some professionals… I am in PA ….. thank you in advance
