I REALLY like the way Swedish locomotive drivers get going smartly, with no bell ringing and horn tooting like Yank drivers who seem to think it necessary to warn every dog, horse and weasel of its approach. Informative subtitles much appreciated.
What a technically superb production that is head and shoulders above most others. Imagine - this has almost perfect lens exposure, excellent tunnel captures with no windshield reflections and beautiful color that is not washed out like other train videos. And with subtitles yet! Wow, this videographer is a real pro!
Except for a heavy yellow color filter which kills all the "beautiful color."
All rail lines between cities with at least a 100K population needs to first of all be built if they’re not already, and the existing ones upgraded to 250km/h, to compete with short haul flights and cars.
Bringing back memories, I travelled on this line back in 1999.
This is one of the most beautiful train travel videos I have ever seen.
Thanks, I really do enjoy the video . 👍
Very enjoyable. Lovely countryside. I haven't been to Sweden since 1975! I appreciate the names of the towns and tunnels. I hope to see more like this. Best wishes from Australia,.Bra! :-)
I feel like I rode a train in Sweden. Thank you and also for the commentary.
I never get tired of watching this wonderful video.
many thanks for video and the English translation I have down load a number of Danish rail videos also from dutch French French and british .I collected over the years over two thousand books on transport which includes trains many thanks for this video regards B,J,Flack
Thank you very much, great video. You Swedish are Lucky with such a lovely country.
Greetings from Amsterdam
Hi,I'm italian and i can't speak english so good but this video is very relaxing and interesting.Good work
Hehe, I've heard that before on another of my train videos. I've even been asked what game I was using. Sweden can look good in the summer.
Thank you for your beautiful videos. Yours are some of the best I've found all around CZcams. I'm in Argentina and spent an afternoon traveling thanks to you.
I don't know for how many times i waited for the point signs from "På Spåret" to show up.. Haha!
It was actually quiet relaxing to just sit down and watch this..
Thumbs up for a great idea! (Y) :)
I don't know how I stumbled onto this movie, but I'm glad I did as it's incredibly relaxing.
Superb video! How I wish the U.S.A. could approach the quality of this rail system!
Thanks Obama..

It is utterly beyond me how as many as 12 wretched souls could dislike this wonderfully-filmed, superbly-documented video. I watch far too many of these cab ride videos, and this is the first one I have seen that has not only such profuse (not to mention bilingual) explanatory notes (be ready to hit the Pause button when one appears), but even the latitude and longitude of the various station stops! Herr Kivisaar has just gained another subscriber.
t's a great video.
I'm Japanese, but I traveled to four Scandinavian countries four years ago.
In Sweden, we traveled by train from Stockholm to Gothenburg and from Gothenburg to Helsingborg.
It was a very nostalgic landscape.
Wonderful video. Professional editing and good definition. Love the information you furnish with your captions. Please make more.
Great video, good audio, and well presented. I just wish British railways, were as clean, quiet and efficient. Thankfully, I've actually made this trip into Goteburg. Great place and country.
Very nice ride, thanks...Beautiful scenery as well. This video tells me how far behind we are with Railroads in the USA...
The best cab view videos on Internet! I really like the info included (in English!) I look forward to your forthcoming documentary.
Fantastic video and amazing landscape, tack sa mycket my friend, regards from Istanbul
Fantastic video! I love the captions that give brief histories of the places that are being passed along the ride. What a wonderful effort.
Best cab ride video I’ve seen so far. The subtitles are really interesting too and well written. Thank you!
Thank you for the ride. We do not have passenger rail where I live, East Tennessee, U.S.A.; I have ridden on some trains in Europe, Netherlands and England. My favorite way to travel.
A great movie with good quality result. A lovely track through a lovely part of the world. I often visit my sister in Gothenburg and drive up the E6 so nice to see the area closer to the coast.
Thank you for the experience . Very good tracks and beautiful country side !
Thank you for posting this. Very fascinating railways, and being a rail enthusiast I got more interested when I saw Halmstad, My grandfather and his brothers came over from there to the USA in the 1930s and settled in the Boston Mass. area. It's beautiful country where you live and very similar to southeastern Pennsylvania.
Many thanks from Russia! Very nice and informative. Great work!
Thanks Jan. First time watching. Absolutely loved it. Simple, beautiful, relevant information and an enjoyable ride.

Thank you very much for this film. With great detail, it is very educational. 10/ 10

Great cabride. The subtitles were a real bonus. It's unlikely that I'll ever get to Sweden, but I can still ride the trains from my armchair.
Thank you for uploading, its great watching rail routes in other parts of the world from my house (India) through you tube. Nice Job

Foi uma ótima "viagem de trem". E com legenda em português! ;) Parabéns pelo vídeo.
I enjoyed this trip very much, Thank you Jan .
Olá. Sou do Brasil. Obrigado.
Fantastic and beautiful :)
Thanks for the free ride... 😄👍💯 I noticed in Sweden you drive on the left side, in Denmark on the right side.
Man! This thing is hypnotic as hell! If I take a sudden notion to pull all my money out and send it to Sweden.. I'm gonna be really choked!

I really enjoyed watching -thanks!
It would be wonderful if we had a train system like this in America, but it would have to be super fast because of the distances involved. The main advantages would be not having to drive yourself, not having to get to the airport an hour early in order to go through security, and virtually no delays caused by extreme weather. But $435 million for 4.4 miles of track!?! Even including a tunnel, that is outrageous!
