I stayed up until 4:30am ON MY BIRTHDAY editing until this was finished to get this out for you all so you could watch it before the weekend was over ;) Thanks for watching!
Last monday and tuesday I tried a skatepark first time ever and i'm almost 28 hahaha. I've been practicing on a ramp but it's easier to me to make a "rock" trick than pump in without using my toe stop AHAHAH
I think it's something like safety reflex, have u got any tip?
Thank you, cheers from Madrid, Spain :)
Do I need to buy the thingie in the middle of the trucks?? ( I forgot what they're called)
I learned how to pump from watching your videos but im nervous about trying to catch on the top because I'm afraid my plate will be too high and I'll just roll and fall
That tip of making sure to lift your heels really made it click and I finally got it this morning about months!!
YESSSS I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!! (all caps cause screaming) It's such a powerful feeling finally landing fakie stalls! SO happy that tip worked for you like it did for me :) Feel good doesn't it? :) :)
I just got my sliding blocks today and your tutorial on stalling is the best one I have found on youtube so far. All these little tips and step by step scheme does make a huge difference, especially when it comes to overcoming fears. Also, the way you explain is very clear and your filming is also perfect. You got a subscriber! Please keep posting tutorials, you are awesome!!!
Caroline! I loved reading your comment, thank you. I always appreciate hearing positive feedback and encouragement
This is your best tutorial yet.
I (very unrealistically) believe I could go follow these steps and nail a fakie 🤣👍
PS the end is my favorite.
Can't wait to try looking over my other shoulder, that was a great tip--taking this video with me to the ramp today! 🖤 🤍
your tip about placing both feet on the coping to drop in allowed me to get this trick very quickly! i thought id never be able to do this trick lol thank you :D
Thank you for all the tips! Excited to drill this til I get it
I'm going to give this a go next week 🤞🏻
I’m a so SICK of clipping my wheels on the back coping, thanks for the great tutorial!!!
Samee
Thanks so much! Just got 'em! So stoked!
Dang this is all so helpful!! Can’t wait to get to the park and try all these tips 😊
This is so helpful! I just figured them out but I'm still not 100 on them, the looking over my other shoulder and the heel lift tips really make sense though, defs trying them next time!
I’m a blader and so close to finally doing this. Your video entirely applies to us as well, hopefully these tips get me up on top!
Yayyy awesome so happy to hear it :)
Love the tips! Telling myself the steps while skating helps so much! Didn’t think to do that for the fakie stall! I am so close!
You're gonna get it! Thanks Yali :)
Wow! I’m having the same issues. Too scared to commit to the fakie. Can’t wait to try these tips next time! Thanks!
I understand it all too well, believe me! You got this!
can't wait to try all these! my main two problems though are the following: 1) going over with my leading foot and then it being up in the air, and the 2) being afraid of slipping out when i try to sit. But maybe its the stance width and the looking over that will give me more control and confidence. great video!
Porch ramp= goals..😍
this was sooo good! really broke it down for me . (plus great editing ) have you learned 5050s yet? im so curious on how wide trucks are different compared to narrow trucks
really helpful
Yay!
I live in the netherlands and getting roller skating supplies is pretty hard. I just can't find grind blocks that would fit my skates. Can you do fakie stalls without them? I've tried so many times, but I either get stuck or don't dare to get enough speed.
maybe too long video but very well explained. will try if I ever find a half pipe this low lol, seriously, they're all so high in Spain!
I’m not that advanced. I ´m trying to deal with my fear cause my toe stops do their job and I didn’t ask them to 😅. Are you rolling with your Radar Energy 65mm?
My biggest issue, block, with front stalling has been that o know I’m gonna hit fakie when I come out if it... so I’m trying to basically just learn them not at the same time... BUT when I try looking back my damn butt or hip or shoulder are in the way... like I just can’t see my back foot at all. Am I alone in that? Does looking for the other foot help? Or is it the same thing? Helps please!
I got the exact same problem! Couldnt find a solution for this so far. I also think that the height and incline of the ramp have a huge influence on the body positioning and wether your body covers your sight or not. I wish I had a smaller ramp to practice 😖
I've been trying to fakie stall for a year now and just fractured my coccyx trying to get it last week! Wish I had this tutorial before that happened 😔
Oh man quick healing vibes 💜 It’ll be here when you recover 😘
