      I bought mine from gpxmoto.com but that's the states only, I'm not sure where a distributor would in your part of the world.

    Chinese KTM! When you copy the best 300 made, you get a decent bike. My only concern is longevity of the parts and frame.

    • @LCARSADV
      @LCARSADV  Před 11 měsíci

      I’ve had 4 GPX bikes and they all have the same parts and frame and they are bullet proof. Parts are easy to get from GPX. That’s my experience anyways….

  • @johnnydangerously9426

    Great video . If you listen to this closely you can hear how they run like a Yamaha DT . Same motor design .

    I'm on the fence between the tse250r tse300r. I also found an FSE300 for $2800. So I'm kind of all over the place. I am over 60 but still keep up a fast B rider pace in tight Woods. The tse250 really had my attention because I thought it might be a little easier on my body. But after watching this video I'm getting second thoughts and leaning towards the tse300. Do you ever miss the tse250r chill factor or is it hard to go back to that bike after riding the Tse 300r?

    • @LCARSADV
      @LCARSADV  Před rokem +1

      Hmmm well the tse300 is more work to control the beast for sure. It really depends on the type of riding and your skill. If you have really good skills then you would end up with a 300 anyways, but if you are just getting back into it a tse250 would be an awesome bike and it is.

    The most effective way to ride a 300 is to never let it get on the pipe! No need! Lug it!

    • @coltonowens2742
      @coltonowens2742 Před rokem +1

      Isn't that why we love 2ts though? They're so much fun on the pipe.

  • @tieoneon1614
    @tieoneon1614 Před rokem +1

    Love the purring sound the 300's make when lugging. I got tired of 2 strokes, and how finicky they are. Jetting, oil, fouling plugs it was always something. I just sold my fully restored KDX cuz I was spending more time tweaking than riding. Is GPX gonna phase out the 250 now?

    • @LCARSADV
      @LCARSADV  Před rokem +1

      I don’t see them phasing out the 250 in my view, the 300 is a performance bike. It’s not for everyone, where as the 250 is. Yeah 2 strokes require a little more loving, but wow they are so much fun! It can be frustrating trying to tune one, 4 strokes seem to tolerate bad jetting a lot more

    • @krazed0451
      @krazed0451 Před rokem

      I've been on a Beta 300 since 2015, jetted according to the table in the manual and haven't fouled a plug once. The old KDX's are awesome little beasts, but modern 2t's are something else.

    Gpx is just over priced at this point crf 450rs and SWM are the best option and quality

    • @LCARSADV
      @LCARSADV  Před rokem +1

      They probably need to adjust the price of the 300r. As far as the crf and swm’s they aren’t even the same type of bikes, so you can’t compare. GPX bikes are enduro bikes, not mx bikes.

    • @MrDavidfuchser
      @MrDavidfuchser Před rokem +2

      Very unsatisfied with my 2023 GPX fse250E, mainly due to forks. Had them apart four times already adjusting shim stack/ changing main bushings troubleshooting a harshness due to an incredible stiction whenever a force that is not parallel is applied to the forks. Either the upper tube inner surface wasn't finished to correct smoothness or the lathe operator didn't take accurate measurements from the source "blueprint". Also had about four other issues pop up that ranged from annooying but workable to leaving me stranded. This isn't because "I got a lemon". They all come from the same factory. Gabe from torture test magazine mentioned how bad the forks were in his review, he just didn't know that it wasn't due to the valve shim stack. Adam Waheed had the transmission give out on the kove 450 that had like what, 200 miles on it?.
      If some people got some enjoyment out of these, cool, more power to them. For my use in the desert, these machines are not quality, they are garbage through and through.

      @@MrDavidfuchser the Kove shift Fork was damaged due to a test rider landing on a rock with the shift lever. It has since been repaired and working fine fine with thousands of miles on it since. I heard it firsthand from Gary. Sorry to hear about your forks. I've heard a lot of great reviews on this suspension but something must be up with the ones on your bike
