You weren’t kidding about not many people knowing Moor Lane. I’ve completely glossed over the existence of this lane my entire life! I know I’ve passed it but it’s just always escaped my attention. Seems like a good little trek.
Great Vid Marcus, I love how you put together less travelled paths to make a good walk, and film it, grand! everybody can follow it, more much more of this very good stuff.
Hi Shane. Although public footpaths are called 'public' as Marcus said you would need permission to detect off the landowner whose land they cross. Do make sure that the farmer is actually the landowner though and not a tenant farmer. If a tenant farmer and he had no objections he may be able to give you contact details of the landowner. Some land with footpaths is also council owned.

Enjoyed your walk, guess the cows were trying to confuse you with the weather forecast.
Yep, those cows were doing it on purpose.
I thought you were going to say at the beginning when you said a bit of good news was it's not raining.
I vaguely remember that day when it wasn't raining.
@@marcuswalks it didn't last. 🙄
Is this the vid when i saw you
yes it was
@@marcuswalks great looking foward to this thank you
Is there a lot of construction going on?? I think there's a bike park Wales somewhere seen a few mountain bike riders on it...
No, no bike park in this area but a new holiday park.
Brilliant do you think i would be allowed to metal detect public footpaths. Cheers
I don't know the rules but I think as most of them cross farmer's fields it would be up to them to agree.
@@marcuswalks yes thank you
