Under full throttle going down road engage the AC compressor 😆
How are u mook 😅 happy sisters day , I think its today 😅
That were a purty good video. Thanks and congrats on 1000000 ...all the best...Chris 🇨🇦
Should a double up cans of Berryman's in the tank for the old trip clean it out after the carburetor had been sitting on the shelf asking how dare gonna do that a 1000 times the appointment tour 2 cans purr fill up in the tank which is much more than a recommended limit but according to Barrington you can't overdope the stuff I've seen people run motorcycle engines on straight barrier ones and it didn't hurt him so I would to chat to burst Philip it's permissible and probably do away with a lot of your stumbling and time at his drive😅
OMG LMAO junkyard digs said "hey googles" give me directions to...and my speaker gave the directions lol
Couldn't have asked for a better driver and copilot!! ❤️
Also the car you two got engaged next to.
Once again CONGRATS on 1 MILLION subscribers Kevin.
Gr8 video Mook. Congratulations on 1million subscribers Kevin.
Congrats Kevin you really deserve those million subs.
you both are great together. love it
Come on Mook , you don't owe any of us a damn thing , but that doesn't mean we don't want more . If you truly don't enjoy doing the show , you should stop but since I have an opinion I'm gonna throw it out there and see if it flys . Your charisma and sense of humor are off the charts , you're really great at what you do. I miss your content terribly. If you're gonna quit do it , I'll miss you . Be good .
I am new here. Why no new videos? What happened?
When can we expect the burnt Nova and Junkyard Mook to return?
Mook needs to make a comeback
Over 90 minutes of Mook magic? Yes please ❤
👍👍junk yard MOOK 👍👍
Yay!
H O O H A H H H !
That’s what Kevin said
America's sweetheart!!
Mook you are a great mechanic and very entertaining. We need more Mook videos.
Mook you never finish a series. Where's the burnt Nova Vids.
My wife has been asking about that car too.
Bah! So jealous, I'll have to join you guys next year. Also, nice shirt Kevin
You have to!! It's the law!!
Hitting a million on tour? So perfect! Much deserved, you guys! Now to push the Mook channel over the top!!
I've watched over a dozen Power Tour vids and this is easily my favorite. No panic about getting where you are going and just having fun and enjoying the journey.
the finger running and jumping was a moment of childhood returned, thank you that had me laughing n I ain't stopped smiling since
👌
Same 😄
MORE MOOK! PLEASE!
I am so proud to watch, you remind me of so many women 9n my hometown who are so strong and do everything too.
This was my first Power Tour. It was pretty awesome, but like you, once over, i couldn't get home soon enough. Also, it was great to meet you Mook! (I talked to you at Columbia SC, about booger truck). Hopefully, you're next to a million!
How does one sign up for power tour?
The Cutlass seemed to start right up every time...that's a plus
Of course it did…it’s an Oldsmobile! 🙂
@@myleslong5584I came here to say that, lol.
Mook...we have two granddaughters, 9 and 14. I have been sharing your videos with them for a couple years now. The 14 yr old can hold her own hanging in the shop with us and the 9 yr old is coming along nicely. I appreciate that you do these videos, and I know I am not the only "Poppa" or Dad out there who sees what you do as a way to teach or girls about cars, and prove to them that anyone can do this stuff if they want to put in the time and effort to learn and get after it.
Thank you.
awwww
What makes MOOK SUPER COOL? Her shining personality and she WORKS ON CARS!!! Kevin you hit the lottery with MOOK!!!!! You two are AWESOME! ❤
Wow that was probably one of the best barn finds you found so glad you guys are taking it a old friend turned me on to the Cutlasses. He owned several 442 my favorite was his rally sport 350 he completely restored
I love these 'get away' vids with you guys, been a long time. Thanks for taking us along and giving us a good glimpse. The car did well, considering the roads, the miles etc. Take care you two, hope to see more vids on here too, Mook. M'kay
Been watching junkyard digs for quite some time now. I’m fairly new to your channel but I absolutely love everything about your personality and how you always seem to be so happy and find a way to make every situation fun no matter how bad or difficult it may be!!!! Just the fact that you are so passionate about everything you do is amazing. You are such an amazing human being. ❤ I will be a fan of you and Kevin until CZcams decides it’s offensive to work on cars. 😅
Mook! We need you! You are the salt of the earth!
Thanks for this road trip Mook! I know it must have been a hard one to edit. Loved every minute of it!
That '72 Cutlass is beautiful, not usually one for gold cars, but it just looks damn great. 😎
Would be great seeing it getting cleaned and tidied.
Congratulations on the Cutlass making 3,000 mi - 17 😉 it look like you guys had a blast and I really enjoyed your version of power tour. Keep up the great work and the awesome videos 👍✌️🇺🇲
2900 - 17 lol
The Return trip has a lot of places I am used to. I have traveled most of that route from Southwestern Virginia to Central Illinois to visit some family members who live in Ill. It was so cool to see those places.
0:00 Mook got what looks to be sort of a shepherd staff for her flock of kitties! I absolutely love 70-72 Cutlasses and 442s, so I am a bit jealous and want another one so bad!
What a great Power Tour Vlog! I am glad you posted it in its total length, I am sure in order to keep from having to edit and post every night, it gives you all more time to enjoy the time with friends. Congrats to the Cutlass making making the trip!
Note: never let your friend volunteer to change your bad starter, removing the heat shield that goes between the Big block 455 and starter saying it is unnecessary junk. Its an inexpensive piece of heat shield whose removal caused a very expensive starter delivery and replacement on my 442.
Yep heatshields are there for a reason don't throw them in the scrap pile
Thanks, Kevin, for serving. Take advantage of every benefit offered to you. That's how we the people say thanks. And nice to see a new Mook video. Great work on Power Tour!
Hello how are you doing today 😊
That was awesome, tks for taking us along. Also nice to see Ike in there too, he worked hard on that wagon. Nice to see y'all have fun with minimal issues.
Love the Cutlass.. nothing beats the A-body GMs.
Great vid as usual. It was nice meeting you, Kevin and the rest of the gang on HRPT23. Everyone was as nice in person as in their videos. You and Kevin were awesome! Thanks for the shout out of my buddy Dustin's 70 GTO (The Grudge) and thanks for signing my club shirt. See y'all next year on HRPT24!👍🏁
1:26:00 after having recently done my suspension, I didn't torque down the brake caliper bolts and they slowly walked their way out until it started rattling, so I torqued it down and everything was peachy. Point of the comment, it's nice to see that even people who spend a lot of time working on cars sometimes overlook these things and it wasn't just me.
Hey! I just found your channel and I really like the vibe of the videos and the content! It's a bummer to see there are no new updates. This was finally something chill and friendly that I enjoyed way more than the usual dry shows. Hope you'll continue!
Lol at the GTO called the Grudge 😂 love it
Saw that you already got the front shocks replaced but it you find yourself replacing others like it in the future, take this for what it is worth. Yes, the center stud always spins when trying to remove the top nut. What I always did was get the appropriate sized socket (1/2 inch I believe it was) and the longest extension in my tool box. Then, I would put the socket on the nut and use the extension for leverage to snap the stud off (grab the extension at the top, and push and pull towards the front of the car and back rapidly). Usually, after a few seconds of doing it, the stud would heat up enough to reach its fatigue point and just snap off. Just a trick an old GM tech taught me when I was starting out in the 80's.
Came here to say the same. Never try to unscrew those nuts, always break the stud. Use a long extension, or the socket on a ratchet will work, too. Then you can bend the stud, turn the shaft, then bend the stud in a different direction. Continue until stud breaks.
Great trip! Thanks for taking us along. Well done on the Million subscribers to both of ya!
THE TIMELAPSE THO 😂
I Think that needs to become a regular segment in the Junkyard channel episodes
Makes me miss the 73' I use to have. Fun watch.
keep em commin mook , cant wait to see what those heads go on, congrats to you guys and the cutlass for finishing the trip with minimal problems
Your Cutlass Mook. and Isaac's wagon are the best there
Mook, I wish you were still doing these great videos . Your decision is yours . Really hate to see you stop doing videos. I started watching your channel, and your channel led me to other channels that I really enjoy. You are very loved by your fans . Happy vibes your way.
Always a good day when mook or kevin posts 🤘🏻🤘🏻
When are you going to be putting out more content Mook? I enjoy watching Junkyard Digs but on your channel or Digs, you’re my favorite part. You are so freaking funny and you teach me stuff about vehicles, that I can then pretend I didn’t watch on my CZcams while we watch it on his and know what I’m talking about and throw him through a loop(make him think I know more than I do). Please come back!!!
i hope all is ok because she has not been in any videos for a long time now and you dont even see mook on kevins videos ????
@@jfc213im curious as well to what is going on
Question Mook, my sister started working as a mechanic and gets offended when men but especially women say “nice to see a women doing this job” but I think it’s just a real observation as it’s less common, have or do you get offended by people saying that?
Thank You both for taking us along on your journey.
Makes me want to go on power tour next year, looked like a great time!
Man, Mook you have got to upload more, it's so good! I know y'all have jyd and your job but you will absolutely make a killing on your channel. You're funny, a good mechanic, comfortable in front of the camera, and very pretty(we're car guys, we notice). You're great, we need more Mook. Doesn't matter if it's your current rides or if you do a Mook revival, we're here for it. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you are my favorite automotive CZcamsr. Lets go! Start feeding the algorithm.
We love you Mook! Hopefully we see you soon and you are doing well!
Being Illinois born and an alumnus of NIU, seeing that DeKalb sign gave me all the midwestern homesick feels and squee out loud. Thanks for that little slice of home! Heckin' great vid!
A tip for removing shocks - Use the appropriate socket on top bolt, use a long extension and go through wheel well into engine bay. Use socket and extension to lever the top of the rod back and forth and it will break off. Much easier that fighting the rusty hardware.
My buddy's uncle told us that tip/trick back in 1987.....I have always busted the top nut off every front shock ever since. No that technique is not in any manual, but so what.....the shock is going in the metal recycling pile
Love the Cutlass and really enjoyed meeting you guys. Hope to see you again.
I loved that Tom's Refurb was there and was the only one to get stuck 😂
This was a fun video i know anytime there is a new Mook video it will definitely be fun. I feel like i was there since you documented the trip.
The Cutlass did really good with no major issues other then some minor stuff.
Hour and a half of the Mook! Yes please.
Where’s MOOK!!!! Girl you rock!! Make Jesse Combes PROUD! We miss you!! All I see is JYD out there having a grand time. You need to keep in I want to see booger truck if not gift her to me
Thank you for working on cars that are my humble taste. Other channels get bored and do exotics. I'll never have a porche but maybe a 72 cutlasd!
Great video as usual Mook. This Cutlass is definitely a survivor and a beautiful car.
Feature Length Mook Madness!
Plus, I love the Cutlass, even though I have no idea why...not like we see a lot of them in the UK 😅
Thanks for bringing us along on your guys Hot rod power tour Road Trip Mook and Kevin @Junkyard Mook @Junkyard Digs
Need more Mook content! Specially the spicy nova and booger truck.
The fact Mook can quote a line from stripes let alone know the movie is fantastically funny
It isn't often I get jealous, but here we are and I miss my Olds. I think it's almost time to get another one, and you definitely didn't help my wait lol.
Always enjoyable to see a video with the Team Work ! MOOK & Kevin ! Nice Road Trip ! Looks like a nice event & CARS ! Olds neat cars !
Opening, Cats Funny ! Under body rust needed Fleetguard Rust Inhibitor
Good Ole Fort Bragg !!!!!! The Original first REAL ! Name !!!!!
@JunkyardDigs deserves 1 million subscribers for a lot of hard work and down to earth fascinating content
Congrats on the million subs Kevin and Mook, well deserved. 🍻 Still watching the show, can't imagine what it's like to do a trip like this with friends/family. Thanks for sharing and safe travels as always!
So proud of the mook and Kevin channels,1,000,000 is amazing dude so happy for you guys.thanks John from Arizona
Notification SQUAD Have a nice weekend!🔥🔥🔥
hi!
great video!,nicely put together for a long haul trip..
congrats on another successful finish, you guys rock!
..phil in lacrosse
You two make a great team and couple. 👍
Heya, Mook! This is THE VERY FIRST AD that I've watched in its entirety. You're a BORN spokeswoman! Lol. Great video! Wish we could have been there on PT with you guys. ...maybe next year... -Vic and Johnny
I didn't see any of it because I have sponsorblock. I do not watch promospam, but it says something about her videos when main highlight for some people was the AD. Let's just say Kevin is way better of a spokeman and a mechanic :)
That is a seriously beautiful car! Great colors.
Let’s go mook
You did an excellent job at saving all your video with the voice over. Those are memories that will last a lifetime. I`m glad you guys are having a good summer.
Chipmunk Mook eating a cinnamon roll is completely adorable! Thanks for the smiles!
That a really nice car and I think personally that you should drop those points and condenser and put a pertronix 2 or 3 and that would make a huge difference. I did this conversion on mine and it starts and runs a 100% better.
Make some more videos
Congratulations Kevin on the 1milli
Stands way higher with new coil springs and Shocks Very nice @Junkyard Mook
Thank you both for a brilliantly entertaining video! I was only thinking a few days ago, ‘I need more Mook in my life’, and here you are. 👍I’ve missed your slightly zany style and humour, but this more than made up for it.
That would be more fun with a 4 barrel carb. Just saying. Great video!
Thanks for taking us along on Power Tour! Y'all are a lot of fun to travel with!
My dad's 65 Pontiac Catalina had a 2 barrel rodcester carburator and it was missing a small metal ball that allowed the accelerator pump to work so we put a BB gun BB in there and now the accelerator pump works
Those piston rods in the shocks make good punches. Grind the ends to whatever size, shape you need and they're free from worn out shocks.
Good tip!
Oh God no! Don't do that. Many modern shock absorber pistons are hollow and under extremely high pressure.
That was an amazing trip. I was telling my husband about your journey and he said “isn’t the like Mini Takes the States”?
I informed him that this was a tour for REAL CARS, not clown cars 🙄
He now is aware that Minis are not real cars 🤣
Thanks for sharing your epic trip❤️
This was incredible! Thank You! Congrats to Kevin as well for the 1Million!
Happy new year Mook and Kevin ❤❤
Great video. Thanks for the tour.
Excellent time spent viewing, & for sub numbers too! Y'all make an appealing couple, entertaining, informative & worthy of loads of giggles... Looking forward for the next installment, already, lol! Thanx !
Thanks for the Tour✌
At 79 there is not many things i enjoy anymore but you guys make me smile and you mook are a treasure . please don't leave
another kickass junkyard digs / mook video!!
Congrats on driving nearly 3000 miles on HRPT2023 and congrats Kevin on reaching 1 million subscribers!! Awesome milestones and beautiful trip across the country.
WE LOVE YOU MOOK, WE NEED JUNKYARD MOOK VIDEOS
Great video Mook! And congrats Kevin! Always great content from both of you! Literally living the dream doing what you love and having fun while doing it❤ keep it up guys!
Some awesome shenanigans on this year's hotrod power tour Nice Mook and Kevin @Junkyard Mook @Junkyard Digs
That’s awesome! Glad you had a great trip and the Cutlass survived. It was great meeting you all at Atlanta Motor Speedway!
My momma had a 72 Cutlass with a 350 Rocket in it. Didn't have the most power ever, but that was the smoothest running engine I have ever experienced. And it was super quiet.
Great job on video and editing. I love your choice of classic cars & trucks. Your viewers really enjoy all the f un you have doing what you both seem to love. Please keep up the great job. Have fun and keep smiling.
Glad you're posting Mook 👍
Congratulations Kevin on the 1 million Subs @Junkyard Digs and @Junkyard Mook
So the outside U-joint snap rings are probably a LOT better because you're absolutely 100% SURE they're in and locked, however the are a NIGHTMARE to get out sometimes, especially when you're on the SIDE OF THE ROAD or in a parking lot and you're under your brother's 89 OBS truck and when they manufactured the truck they used up whatever they had on the shelf at the GM assembly plant and you're stuck with 2 different sized joints on the same end. Yeah. Dealt with that once in the rain at 2 am. Fun stuff
Well done Mook. Those race tracks are great, we took our company cars to a driving school at the Calder thunder dome in AUS once and took em on the oval, we were supposed to stick to 80 and we were all doing 110-130 in stock company sedans. Good fun. Well done again, kevin was handy too 😂. Congrats on the Million too 👍
