That is such a beautiful song. I never really listened to the words was visually entranced? then...when I finally did, I felt like it was a young man and woman who had made the "right" decision to not sleep together? and felt good about their decision, the next day. How nice it was to wake up with a clear conscience. I know it's a little old-fashioned and fuddy-duddy but that was my take away. Unfortunately it took years for me to get that, there. 😂 😅❤❤ ps I have also noticed over the years, looking back and really listening to the tunes, most have some integrity or lesson to be learned? ie no one knows whether he was from the house of God. 😮😢 Most are very positive lessons shared, questions asked or... hoped.....four. 🎉 ❤
I grew up in the Kennedy and Springer Mansions so I had a great appreciation and still do for the various woods in the world: like cherry, mahogany, oak, pine, cedar, redwood and various others 😮😮😮 etc. etc.

Friend and I writing songs in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. My lyrics. His music. Country and bluesy rock. Think you could drop by and give us some pointers. ;-) I gave all my vinyl (including most of the American Beatles' releases) to my nieces and nephews. With another generation it continues!
I hope that book has another volume with more songs, Paul gave his explanations along five years, sure there are more material to another 2 books...

Norwegian Wood was a sauna, massage parlour and other such delights not too far from one of Paul's haunts.
Bulldust. John had the idea for the song while on a skiing holiday with his wife Cynthia, in St Moritz in the Swiss Alps.

He seems to have good taste in architecture. The room where he keeps his records is gorgeous, mid-century modern perfection. I’d like to see more of his home, if there are parts he doesn’t mind sharing with us.

I always thought Norwegian Wood was a romantic song about being in a cottage in a wood. When I finally understood the lyrics it was a shocker. The Norwegian wood was either furniture or interior wood cladding which was "groovy" in the 1960s.
It seems that he burns down her house because she didn't sleep with him the night before.
