@sird2333 not always. A waver can be used for a head game and a scare tactic. Part of the game is mental, so this gets into your head and gives the restaurant an advantage.

He lost so many challenges. Also there are so many people who did way more challenges than him. He should have stopped before he got diabetes.

my dad was a firefighter in Cabot when they shot this episode. he told me that they were seriously considering rushing him to the hospital, and that by the end he was sucking on an oxygen bottle from the freezer. what an absolute unit this man was!

habanero is unbelievably hot and tasty at the same time.
Yeah, but the Shut Up Juice was made with habanero extract. Extracts are nasty stuff because there is ZERO flavor. Only burn.
Habanero actually tastes pretty good and is where I consider the line between fun to eat and a challenge. The stuff in this is extract and they use way too much. Just ruins the food honestly

I ate two taco’s at a restaurant, and they had da bomb ground zero, nearly double the heat of da bomb beyond insanity. It tasted absolute dogshit, awful, and it had coriander 🤣 but I still cleared them both with an exploding stomach after….

I got to meet Adam in Cabot. He is a genuine good guy. During breaks, he go table to table and talk with as many people as he could.

I loved watching these, what really ticks me off is some restaurants will make these types of challenges dangerously spicy just to force people to fail. There was one restaurant that did that to Adam.

I felt really bad for him when he said that some restaurants that knew he was coming for a spicy challenge would make an extra hot version of the meal just to get him to have to quit eating it on the show. He developed really bad medical issues after that show.

This would taste absolute dogshit because it’s habanero extract. No flavour and only heat. It tastes metallic and bitter. A good example is the da bomb sauces.

I grew habaneros a couple of years ago and made a couple gallons of hot sauce. I’m almost out of sauce and my heat tolerance has increased substantially
There is no way I’d try that challenge; habanero is hot enough on its own! It’s not the mouth pain that gets you, it’s the smoldering fire in your gut a couple hours later!
Hab guts is far worse than what hotter chillies cause for some reason
@@ryanwatterson4038 most of my experience with chilies is with Thai food and their chili sauce. Sometimes it’s average heat and sometimes it’s all the stars! I agree the chili pain doesn’t last nearly as long as habanero in the gut!
That said, I did the one chip challenge and while it didn’t burn my mouth too bad it got me bad a couple hours later!

I had a sauce made of habaneros working at a restaurant before. My stomach was in so much pain afterwards that I could barely sleep even after I camped out in the bathroom

I always liked MvF with Adam and I used to be an enthusiast of all things spicy. The ghost pepper stopped that, LOL. But any time there’s extract involved, it’s going to be bad. And when the hiccups start, it’s usually over.

I would go outside a drink a carton of full fat milk before the challenge, that way, I am (to some degree) protected from the full-effect of the heat from the chilli sauce.

I used to go to Mean Pig BBQ all the time when I was kid. The owners are super nice and the food is absolutely amazing.

These chilli challenges can be dangerous people have ended up in hospital with serious problems I actually saw a young lad eating ghost chilli and it honestly looked like he'd been on some drugs or strong alcohol shaking slurred speech sweating and all through the humble chilli peppers, certainly entertaining to watch 😳💯🔥🔥💯💀
