I heard one story where Jeff got hickups during a bit with Peanut. The amount of money I'd pay to see that.
This was a genuine situation of "technical difficulties" being involved, but Jeff is so slick with it he can improvise on the fly and STILL have the audience in tears laughing.

He did a great job of improvisation in extreme situations on live performances as unplanned circumstances changed his whole personality of the puppet as it lost parts!!!!!

A brillant performer. He's able to adlib and make it seem it's part of the act. If he isn't adlibing, then making it look like they're failures and adding dialog that fits the circumstances if brillant.

This part had me in stitches!
You can tell it's all magnets but it's done so smooth it looks like accidents. It's still extremely funny though. The reference to throwing Peanut I've seen that happen a few times and when he slips into Peanut's voice that was funny too.
This was the first time I saw this and I had tears running down my face from laughing so hard. That is too funny.

the fact that the dummy just feel like a separate person and the main character allow ventriloquist to laugh at their own joke and don't have to keep a straight face.
