Just put my fender kit on my 5711. I could not use the spacers under the main bracket cause the doodad that stops fender from hitting the tractor would not reach down enough to catch the axle stop. So I adjusted the brackets accordingly to 2 3/8” from top of tire and 1 1/4” from sidewall. I will say putting the fender bracket on without plastic fender on allows you to adjust center and height very easy, then just bolt plastic on. Your video was a big help, the instruction are crappy. And i did end up with some extra bolts/spacers but they shorted me the 4 long carriage bolts that hold fender on main curved bracket.
Something i did to my 5711 was cut that stupid buddy seatbelt bracket off. You have to pull all the plastic off fender and take off the seat bracket that mount to fender but man what an improvement. I was constantly hitting it with my hand when using parking brake.
Dennis I saw you today and you saw us and our truck/trailer without knowing who we are. I was turning off of business 58 onto 58 and you were driving your old green truck with a load of something on it. We were in my white chevy crew cab with 24 foot white cargo trailer. It was around 1 today and we had just left the candy store headed home from a job I had in that area. Surprised I saw you.
Good morning Denis, fenders look nice. I could have used some the other day after playing in the mud with my tractor and went to fill her up down the road. I mud crap flying all over my windshield. Have a nice day.
I feel for you and also understand completely. What should be a fairly easy thing, turns out to be a pain. I had an hour brake job that turned out to be a 4 hour brake job, because of a couple screws that broke off and then the easy out also broke off (after drilling them out).
I put these on my 4707. It took me while to figure out which way those two black adapters go on the hub. The instructions were fairly useless in that regard. I also had a bit of trouble with the fender rubbing the loader control cables. Finally got it sorted but it was a pain. And they weren’t cheap. Something like $1300 from my dealer.
Always think mudguards improve the looks of a tractor also they do a good job and simple design of the stops on the mudguards, Have you had chance to use the third function on the loader on the 5711 yet ?or still on the square baler? You've got a good way at explaining things Dennis on the jobs you do . Mike
Great video. I just purchased a 4710 platform version and need these. Did you buy them from the dealer or order them online? I would rather order them online. Thanks!
I hate to think of the trouble I would have been in by being late to something you were suppose to be at, late becuz I was working on my tractor. Every time your phone rang my skin crawled,,,, Hope you didn't get in to much trouble. Ron
It’s not in the same league as a Deere 6R. But I think it’s a little ahead of a 5M as far as standard features and what you get for the money and it’s well built.
@DLHFarms I think you’ll get a kick out of this..my 5711 was delivered today. I got in it started messing around and zero heat. First thing i checked was the cable behind the temp selector like you did a video, cable was fastened. I called and the tech said he would come out after he got done with another tractor. So i started taking off the bolt up top to check cable up there and right when i took all bolts off before i pulled the lid up he called and said he was on his way, told him i was going to check the cable but he said that the water would be hot and circulating regardless of the blend valve up there. So i didnt even pull top, just put bolts back. I drove it a little wile waiting on him and it started throwing a code..speed sensor. He got there and we started working on finding the heat problem took lines off at the elbows under cab..no flow. Traced lines under cab looking for kink..nothing. I said let’s look up top for kink or something. We got up there and pulled hatch and right there was the cable, not even in the holder. Beside it. Do it wasnt doing crap. Appearantly they changed the air box a few years ago and now the heat lines wont circulate if blend actuator is on cold. Damn massey, quality control! Got cable bolted down and heat works of coarse. We traced the speed sensor down and found it, it’s the one behind fuel tank. Said he will come out and we’ll change it(I’m a good helper). So he left and i pulled it around and it started with another code, so flashing 2 codes. I took a pic of it and emailed to the shop to show him when he got back as he had just left. This code was another speed sensor but it also illuminated the blocked trans filter light. This freaked me out. I could shut it off and start it but as soon as i moved 20’ the codes would be there with the alarm. I was like crap. Emailed them and said I didn’t want this tractor and the said they would bring mine back teusday and take it back. So tonight i got in it to move it til they pic it up, no codes, i ended up driving it around for about an hour..no codes. I’m thinking there was a glitch from all the starting and shutting off, and idling…i dont know. Tractor was delivered to them just a few months ago. Only had 2 hr on it and most of that was them dyno-ing it before they brought it out. I’ll drive it around some more but feeling confident the tranny isn’t imploding..might keep it. This is the most I’ve ever typed..lol

Nice fenders. I like how they stop before hitting tractor and wheels keep going.
It’s pretty neat. First time I ever seen ones like that came on our NH T6030 back in 2009.
Always hated having to read the instructions. Usually half way through I realized I screwed up. Lol. Thanks for the vid.
Haha yep

Cool I don’t remember seeing you but I was in the focus hauling gravel into the motorcycle campground.
@@DLHFarms Cool. Yeah if I blew my horn and waved like a crazy person you'd probably remember it. Glad to see the old truck is still getting it done!
Thank you Sir!!! They look great!!
Thanks!
Look great Dennis, sure like that Tractor👍🏻
Me too it’s nice
Those really look good Denis! Ill add them to the list for my 4707. Those and the remote cover kit.👍
Keeps the mud off your cab
Hello looks good Dennis fairly easy to install. Great video have a good day.
Thanks
Good morning Denis, fenders look nice. I could have used some the other day after playing in the mud with my tractor and went to fill her up down the road. I mud crap flying all over my windshield. Have a nice day.
Yep that’s why I always put on fenders
Thanks, Dennis. God bless.
Thanks!

Been there done that.
Good video.

Yeah on the 4710 I had trouble getting them adjusted just right so they wouldn’t hit stuff like the fuel tank guard, but I got it.
🤣🤣🤣 Good n tight! How many times have I heard that.
Haha
I liked this video very much personally even though this is not something I will ever do (at least I seriously doubt I will).
Never know haha
Looks nice Dennis. Did you ever get the third function valve installed?
Yes video coming on that also

I agree on the looks. Yes I have got to use it! There will be a video on that coming in the future.
Hope the 5711 went well moving bales
Great video. I just purchased a 4710 platform version and need these. Did you buy them from the dealer or order them online? I would rather order them online. Thanks!
They came from the dealer. About $1500
Dennis, would you ever consider a Deutz tractor?
Maybe. I would have to demo it first.
Some assembly required, batteries not included ?
Haha

Haha no I wanted to be tedding hay that’s what I was late for.
Where did you get this kit?
Agco
There's always one bolt that refuses to co-operate and it's always in an awkward place 😁😁
Haha for sure
How does the 5711 compare to the Deere.
It’s not in the same league as a Deere 6R. But I think it’s a little ahead of a 5M as far as standard features and what you get for the money and it’s well built.
@@DLHFarms Thanks. That is the info that I needed. Keep up the great videos.
Can you tell us the brand and where to get
These are the Agco ones that you can get from any Massey Ferguson dealer.
How much?
They were $1500 at that time
@@DLHFarms probably more now. Taking delivery of a 5711 today. Just starting to look at stuff for it.
