I just visited his grave last week , there was nobody at the mausoleum where he is buried at , which gave me the chills I will not lie , but what stoked me more was a peculiar old scent that was around while I was getting near his grave , smelled similar to old roses , and it was definitely not from the flowers from the other graves , it was different, it would intensify more as I got near . Weather it was a strange event or not, it’s an experience I will never forget.
I've had some weird events happen in my life as well, I totally believe it could have been something. Embrace the moment and remember it fondly

Valentino to this day is probably the biggest film star of all time. Remember, this was a man who reached the pinnacle of stardom with no one hearing his voice! He became the template for future stars to emulate. Elvis, Sinatra and other stars had a soundtrack to their stardom. Valentino had to rely on raw expressiveness and body language to create his overwhelming appeal. In many ways the most remarkable star before or since.
Thats was precisely the reason for his fame...His English was heavely accented..He would have need to be dubbed...
His wife wrote the scripts for his films by accessing the spirit world. So you were literally watching what the demons had written. No wonder it was eerie

He has a gentleness and a kindness I have not seen in a man before. I know there’s many out there but on screen it’s none existent.
He’s been gone nearly 100 years but is still immensely popular. He was something special.
I also love Harold Lloyd he was very handsome with the glasses and makeup. He was cute with the glasses and a truly beautiful person to everyone around him. He stayed lovingly married to his first and only wife for many decades.
It is so nice to see him in natural ways without the sometimes quite dramatic expressions of the silent era. He seems such a warm person.
Rudy was such a gentleman with such a sense of style. He had such grace and elegance for a man. No one ever came close. He was truly a beautiful person inside and out. In addition to all that of course he was a great actor and a loving person
The way he dressed was so organized and neat. He didn't dress like it was the 20s. So handsome.
The average man on the street in the 1920s certainly didn't dress that well, and the cut of men's suits in those years was often not that flattering, from vintage photos I've seen. Glamorous movie stars like Rudolph Valentino however, had access to the best, most fashionable tailors, I'm sure!
I believe that most of his clothing was custom made just for him.
I think I figured it out. When you look at a picture of him it is like he is really looking at you. He has been dead for over 90 years.
But it is like he still creates magnetic effect. His emotions are tense . I don’t think any actor or actress has ever created
Those kind of feeling to the masses.
That is exactly how I feel. When he is smiling in those photos, you are the person he is smiling at and no one else. Everyone and everything fades into the background and it is only you and him. Don't know any other celebrity that has been able to have that effect.
All of these photos have taken my breath away. I have seen all of them before, but not in color. Rudy was dark and exotic. No man like that will ever come again.
If he were a young star today people would still be swooning over him

In this video you can actually see Rudy's skin color. It was so unique. He looked as though he was tanned all the time. Magnificent.

Ok, I feel comfortable sharing this here. I'm a producer her in Los Angeles and had a pitch dinner at the Culver city hotel near Culver Studios. Well, the meeting went well and everyone went about there ways and I decided to stay on to have drinks by myself.....so I thought. The night was wonderful, a young lady was singing jazz in a retro 1940's style band ( love Big band music) and I was getting pleasantly tipsy. Slowly, I started to have this sweet beautiful melancholy that brought me to tears. I instantly thought of Rudy. Did he stay at the Culver , it built brand new around his time.

Appreciate this video the most on Rudolph Valentino. It is the best one for me because you could really see the real Rudy without makeup and being the real person he was as if you were seeing his true persona. He shines in these pictures way beyond and you get a real glance of the man he was..and not the movie star he portrayed. He will always be the one and only Rudolph Valentino, mesmerizing, magnificent, and just stunning.... forever and furthermore truly the greatest. Rudy, one who will always be remembered. ❤💙💜💖💗💘❤💙💜💖💗💘
I worked on Melrose just down the street from the cemetery.l put flowers on the grave.my grandparents.gave him his first waiter job in their restaurant.

A photograph is like an iceberg, it shows a very small part of what a person is (or was). I see a young man, well put together, in very elegant clothes, with a nice and expressive smile, but it must have been something about him if women were dying for him, his live-in girlfriend threw a fit at his funeral, so there must have been something about him, sadly we'll never know

The image with the children at the end of video was so haunting b/c I’ve read that Rudy loved kids & had a great rapport w/them….what a tragedy that he didn’t live long enough to have any of his own….at least ones we know about😊.

During Rudy's time 4 color printing processes and experimental 3 color photography existed. It's surprising that he never got an experiential 3 color portrait of himself. By now would have been faded, unless it was taken care of. He had no time to discover.

Secondly when those of us who will enter The Kingdom our old bodies will be cast off and we will all become spiritual beings. Due to the lack of human physicality, we will no longer feel pain and other such items of the flesh. Our new bodies will also have nothing to do with genetics or DNA as those too are concepts only of the flesh. In terms of his physical appearance, he wasn’t the most handsome guy in early Hollywood, but it was his charisma, and skills as both a dancer and actor that gravitated women towards him. Plus, his background as an immigrant of both Italian & French descent made him very appealing as the “foreign lover” which was a staple in many of the roles he played on screen.
