    Nice attachment, we you use a bobcat landscaping rake . Basically same thing but it picks up rocks , sticks, debris. Less labor involved and you can turn unscreened loam into screened loam .

    I believe that you might be able to get a finished seedbed with just your Hydrabucket if you float the drum and curl the bucket upwards.

    • @Celeco4948
      @Celeco4948  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes, you can achieve a nice finished seedbed using the Hydrabucket, as you described, especially if the area is small. Where the Harley Rake shines is especially when the area is large. You get a much more uniform, even finish with the Harley Rake due to the wider width and especially because the Harley Rake has guage wheels which controls an even finished depth much better. So the Harley Rake gives a much even finished work. However, the Hydrabucket will get it close. It is a phenomenal implement. The Harley Rake will fine finish it a little better. The main difference is the guage wheels where the Hydrabucket relies on the float function. Fine grading the guage wheels on the Harley will win every time. The Hydrabucket is a must buy. Using them both together is worth their weight in gold. In alot of instances you could get away with just the Hydrabucket.

      @@Celeco4948 Now instead of convincing my wife of why I “HAVE” to have just one of the implements, I’ll have my work cut out explaining why there’s a “NEED” for both! 😫
      Thanks for sharing the footage and the advice!

      @@robert5521 The Hydrabucket is a great implement because it will fine grade and brake up any packed material. It is nice to have a two in one implement. I just prefer the Harley Rake for fine grading. Plus you can angle the Harley Rake. I love them both. If I could only have one it would be the Harley Rake. But the Hydrabucket is definitely worth owning. Keep the drum on the Hydrabucket well greased at all times. I will be doing more videos soon. If you own both you wont be disappointed. Tell your wife I said that. LOL!

      @@Celeco4948, I can see your point. That set of implements together seems to be a very handy combo. I’ll make sure that I deliver the message to my wife as them being “must have” tools, per Charles! LOL 😆

    I am purchasing a SVL65 next week and I'm on the fence to either get a standard bucket or just put that money towards the cmp hydra bucket right off the bat. Which route would u recommend I plan to do seed beds and grading.

    • @Celeco4948
      @Celeco4948  Před rokem

      The hydra bucket is a great work tool, but I’m not sure I would give up the standard low profile bucket with a reversible, cutting edge and its place. Although, I guess you probably could. Every implement is a tool and has its purpose and its place. The hydra bucket is wonderful for breaking up chunks of soil. The Hydra bucket is an investment. The standard bucket for its cost as compared to the cost of the machine is well worthwhile to own also. Pallet forks would be the next choice. The standard bucket and forks will be discounted with the purchase of the machine through Kubota. I hope that helps.

    Im actually not to impressed with the kubota ctl. I love my b3030 tractor. But their loaders and mini excavators suck.

    I dont see the point, I can do that with a standard bucket, I would spend my money on a 4-1 bucket

    • @Celeco4948
      @Celeco4948  Před 2 lety +1

      I felt the 4 and 1 bucket was the most useless implement I ever tried. Subsequently I did not buy one. To each his own.
